There are many hidden gems within the City of Galway that you you may miss ...... I would highly recommend Marteen as a guide to experience them. Marteen brought these gems to life with her passion and knowledge of the history and culture of the city. I thoroughly enjoyed the Galway Medieval Walking Tour as well as the Galway Dark Tour - both the same day ...... an easy pace and very informative. An excellent tour - highly recommend it!

The Her Galway Walking Tour was very interesting. Marteen knows her stuff and is well able to respond to questions and comments. I found the 90 minute Tour went very quickly for me. I’m keen to look up more information about those women. Thanks very much Marteen for sparking my interest.

First trip to Ireland. Visiting Galway and wanted to take a walking tour. Marteen was knowledgeable, fun, and kept us walking at a perfect pace. Learned so much more than doing it ourselves.

Had a lovely tour with Marteen today that focused on notable women in the herstory of
Galway. Marten is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about her topic, and also a delightful conversationalist. I wish I had time to do her medieval tour!

Marteen knows how to turn history into a story and helped us see parts of Galway (like the cathedral) in a very different way. After the tour, I found myself retelling all that I had learned to those who couldn’t make the tour.

We took Marteen's Medieval Galway walking tour and very much enjoyed it. She is very knowledgeable and takes you to hidden parts of the city you might otherwise miss. Marteen is very pleasant and I would highly recommend taking this tour.

I cannot recommend enough booking one of the many tours Marteen offers. She is knowledgeable and makes the information you’re receiving very fun and interesting. She answers questions and really makes you feel immersed in the culture and city of Galway.

With continued COVID travel restrictions, Marteen's live guided virtual tour was the next best thing to being there. Using her phone and an enviable data plan, Marteen guided me through Medieval Galway, sharing her love of Irish history along the way.

Absolutely loved the HerGalway virtual tour today. As a birthday surprise my 2 sisters also booked on, such a touching idea (thank you Terri)
Marteen is a wonderful story teller, such a warm, friendly and so knowledgeable.
Dark tour next, would love to book on an actual tour when we get back to some kind of normality.
