Had a great day excursion to Howth by Dublin Bay Cruises round trip from Dun Laoghaire. Very informative historical guide narrated the trip which was quite interesting. Howth has numerous seafood restaurants to choose from. Found wonderful local arts selling goods at the Market. Would...More

This seems to be a busy harbour with lots of boats about. It is nice to talk a walk around and see all that is happening there.

Friday 21st July, having had a walk along the pier, we had a stroll around the harbour. Sadly Dun Laoghaire Harbour has lost some of its kudos and importance since the ferries stopped sailing to and from here. Having grown up nearby the Dun Laoghaire...More

Walked down the east pier and saw many yachts and boats both moored and going in and out of the harbour. There were about 4 well known old yacht clubs on the harbour

Nice place for a quick walk along either one of the piers or even a nice ice cream from a nearby shop. It's usually kept clean and safe.

This is a great day trip from Dublin. There is a lovely waterfront walk with art along the way. There is also a lovely park and some good restaurants. Our favorite was Olivetti's for delicious, homemade pasta.

A bit sad that the ferry no longer comes into Dun Laoghaire harbour. The walk to the ice cream shop at the end of the sea wall is worth and you can reward yourself with an ice-cream!

Dun loaghaire harbour is all ways great for a good walk and a ice cream when you get to the end. You can get some nice picture along the walk too. People go fishing here too

The pier of this harbor is very walkable with lively entertainment and a few food establishments. Views are spectacular.
