Been through the park on many occasions even been to a market here in the past(not sure if they still do one). It's a nice place to sit on a sunny day and opposite the old swimming baths conversion which will add to th bay walk.

The People’s Park is a little gem, an oasis of calm in a busy urban town. The Sunday market is gone, I presume till restrictions are lifted, hopefully it returns soon. A nice place to walk and relax or just sit and enjoy life and the sun.

Fantastic little water feature and other sculptures in this beautiful little park at the southern end of Dunlaoghaire. Very scenic and the flowers are excellent .

The Sunday market is a a great attraction and well worth a visit. But every day is lovely with a stroll through the park admiring the flowers. Treat yourself to a teddys ice cream then walk it off down the pier. The good things are sometimes the simple things in life

I didnt know what to expect, but as soon as we landed in Dublin and checked in to our hotel, we bought a DART ticket to Dun Laoghaire. Great train ride (about 30 minutes). Dun Laoghaire is a beautiful town on the water. Walked all the way out to the light house.
Then we were ready to visit People's Park. Beautiful small park with every flavor of food represented. AMAZING.
Only on Sunday's but check schedule if going in the winter.
Not a lot of craft items, but Ireland abounds in those areas.
If you are a local, this would be a great Sunday outing for fresh cheese, fruits, veggies, etc.

Another wonderful place to visit in Dun Laoghaire. The park is right by the ocean and offers a nice, peaceful place to relax and let the kids expend some energy. Excellent playground with varied equipment and paved trails are perfect for the little ones. There are bistros, cafes and and an ice cream shop nearby if the mood strikes but the best food at People's Park happens on the Sunday farmer's market. Lots of different types of meals on offer and you can purchase fruit/veg and other items like olive oil and pastries. YUM! Bring a blanket and hang out with friends and family on the lawn. You can bring your dog, too!

Great place to go for farm fresh veggies and food trucks. Fresh baked goods. The smell out there is awesome. We were surprised at the veggie vendor. Everything fresh and at least 8 different kinds of mushrooms. They also had a very friendly staff.
