We provide Private luxury driver guided Day tours of Dublin City and Day Tours outside of Dublin City. We have been providing tours for over 20 years and already have a business listed on TripAdvisor for Chauffeur Tours. This is a new website specific to Day Tours that we are operating. Please note we operate out of Nassau Street Car Park and provide tours from Dublin city centre, not Sandyford.

We just got home from spending 5 days with Ronan from Gan Tours! Words are not enough to express how much more (more of everything) Ronan made our trip. There were five ladies on this trip; he had his hands full with us, and he couldn't have been more courteous, pleasant, polite, charming, knowledgeable, and considerate. He was an excellent driver and would regale us with tales of Irish history,fascinating Irish politics, and stories along our journey across Ireland as we drove to the many typical sites of a first visit (Ring of Kerry, Cliffs of Moher, King John's Castle, Killarney, Dingle, and more). We often made many side stops to take in the wonders of Ireland. Ronan knew all of the spots and took us to some off the beaten path places to see more of the scenic landscapes we all clamored to see. On our first day, Ronan suggested a change in the schedule to accommodate the weather we were having to maximize our visits. it turned out to be a perfect suggestion because we had less rain and more Ireland. I'm sure (although I didn't ask) that Ronan cleaned our Mercedes van every day before he picked us up and he would often give tips for wonderful restaurants to eat, things to see in town and places to shop; he was also happy to make reservations if we needed. Ronan was fantastic and such a great part of our trip to Ireland. I am so grateful we hired him and will definitely hire Gan Tours the next time we visit. He was so good natured about our joking with him and quickly picked up on our family dynamics and was able to joke back good-naturedly and add to the fun. He was the consummate guide and definitely made our trip to Ireland a success! Well done Gan Tours and a Grand time for sure! Thanks Ronan!

If I could give Gan Tours 10 stars - I would! Using them to see Ireland took what was a wonderful vacation and made it perfect. We spent 4 different day trips with Ronan and Ciaran and they were the most wonderful guides we have ever met. They put together fabulous trips that suited our schedule and ensured we got to see some of the best aspects of the country and a few less traveled to gems (Tullamore, Galway, Cork, Midleton, Blarney, Dublin, Newgrange , Tara and Slane just to name a few sights). Everything from their stories to recommendations for pubs, restaurants and shopping made our trip wonderful. We learned so much of the history from them and were able to make the most of our vacation because of their services and guidance. Traveling with them was like touring with a friend, they made you feel relaxed and welcome at hello. Highly recommend them and will certainly be using them again in our return trip. - Glen & Melissa Karlovitch

My father and I hired Gan Tours to take us to 3 of our stops during our 10 day Ireland trip! Money well spent and would do it again!! Leaving the driving to Ken, Paul and Ronan was such a relief especially since the driving is done on the opposite side of road and car than the US! They were each prompt, friendly and professional and let us stop and do tours along the way and even visit my dad's cousin's family farm!! We had 3 separate drivers on 3 different days to take us between Dublin/Cobh; Cobh/Galway; and Galway/Dublin. Each car was a Mercedes and very comfortable. Each driver gave us options of places that we could stop along the way like the Jameson Distillery, Rock of Cashel, Cliffs of Mohr, Athlone Castle, Clonmacnoise and several others. They were extremely informative of the areas we drove through and I felt like we learned so much more than we would have. They were kind and professional and so informative. It was one of the best things we organized for this trip!! I highly recommend!!!

We were picked up in our hotel by Leo in a very comfortable Mercedes sedan. He took us to beautiful southern Dublin seaside sites including the new hi-tech hub in Dublin, Sandycove point, Colimore harbor, James Joyce’s tower museum, pointed out celeb houses, took a back way into a wonderful beach access, Powerscourt, Loch Tay viewing point of Guinness country estate, Glendalough, Johnny Fox’s pub, etc. I have a car, but could never have sone this route or known the details. He had great stories of the area and notables, fantastic cultural perspectives, and very helpful insights on Ireland and its attractions.

Our group of 6 adults had an incredible trip to Ireland, due in large part to our amazing guide Ciaran of Gan Tours. We picked the base locations -- 2 nights in Kilkenny, 4 in Clifden, 3 in Galway and 4 in Dublin. Ciaran showed us beautiful scenery and amazing places we wouldn't have chosen on our own that made our trip so much more meaningful and memorable, such as the Dunbrody famine ship, Dan O'Hara's farm, Lisdoonverna, and Ballynahinch castle. His stories of Irish history, the people, and the sigificance of each site added to our appreciation and enjoyment. He was extremely attentive to our needs, phoning ahead to make arrangements and recommending a pub or great place for coffee whenever we needed them. Not only did Ciaran take excellent care of us, but he is also warm, very funny, and genuinely kind. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with him; he is truly the best guide I've ever had.

Dez is a very charming guide who seems to easily determine your interests. He caters to your interests and time perimeters. A wealth of information and lives sharing local history and how it interrelated to Great Britton. I'd highly recommend Dez and Gan Tours.

My husband and I did 3 day tours out of Dublin with Ronan of Gan Tours. He was professional, prompt, intelligent, courteous, knowledgeable and entertaining. Much better decision than renting a car!

We had the most fantastic experience with Gan Tours, on a 2-day trip to the Connemara peninsula and our guide, Eoghan. We loved the knowledge and anecdotes Eoghan was able to share with us along the way, and being able to customize our itinerary to suit our family's interest and timetable. Ciaran was wonderful to work with throughout the booking process, as well. We loved every minute of these 2 days and the experience for our family was worth every penny.

It is a delight to highly recommend Gan Tours and in particular, Ciaran as driver on a custom dour in Dublin surrounds. I contacted Gan not knowing if they could assist with my rather atypical request: a bespoke tour at the crack of dawn for two family members laying over in Dublin for an extended time, and one of the family members (73 year old mother) prone to anxiety and expressing an initial unwillingness to leave the airport. Frankly, I felt I was making a somewhat annoying request. However, Gan responded with solicitude and great attentiveness to detail. My mother was thus reassured by their proposal, and persuaded to go ahead on tour. My mother and young daughter, who traveled together, were absolutely thrilled with their tour experience and how much they could fit in given the window of time that they had. They enjoyed also the easy collegiality of interacting with Ciaran as driver/educator/guide, which collegiality always adds much to any tour experience. Ciaran learned my mother was a WB Yeats fan; a stop at Yeat's home in Merrion Square was incorporated. An impromptu coffee stop at an establishment which delighted them was also much appreciated. My daughter wanted "castles" - a castle was included! (@Malahide :). Overall, I would say, Gan's professionalism in the arranging and planning stage inspired confidence, and was the difference between my family members sitting in airport for over 6 hours and actually getting out and about into the country for at least several hours. Gan's execution did not disappoint, either (especially when my family members made a live, "game day change" in meetup point while on location at airport). My only regret is they could not have stayed longer in Gan's care and custody. I sincerely hope we'll again have the chance to engage their services, and for a longer period of time. I recommend without reservation. When you need a turnkey solution with no margin for error, these are the kinds of professionals to whom to turn.
