We deal in the highest quality gemstones, old cut diamonds and period estate pieces, specialising in one-of-a-kind engagement rings. Antique jewellery is made with a craft and passion that cannot be replicated, the skills have almost all been lost and cannot be replaced. After following their Instagram account for some time and coveting many of their beautiful pieces, I made my first purchase from Courtville this week. From selecting my ring - an Edwardian sapphire & diamond cluster ring - to receiving it by post, I couldn’t have been happier with the process. I originally visited the store to look at a different ring, but it was no longer available. Alyce was so helpful and selected a number of other pieces she thought I might like, leaving me with the dilemma of choosing between several I really liked! Having taken some photos, I took the evening to think about it. When I decided on the sapphire ring, I ordered it via the website the next day and within 24 hours it was on my doorstep. So efficient! The packaging is beautiful and the ring itself is gorgeous. Cannot recommend Courtville and the wonderful staff enough. Fantastic purchasing experienced

Buying the perfect antique ring during Covid times is not without its challenges especially when faced with travel restrictions. Matthew Weldon however has adapted admirably to the times we are living in. He provided me with a much appreciated flexible service and put me at complete ease as I was deciding on my special purchase. His knowledge, professionalism, and friendly charming nature mean if I ever have the privilege of buying another piece of unique jewellery I will definitely be returning to him!

Recently purchased an antique pearl and diamond ring for my wife for our 30th wedding anniversary. When faced with the task of what i should get a friend directed me to Courtville website. problem solved. brilliant website with all plenty of information on each item. so to a visit and hoping that the website depictions carry into reality. Wow wow wow. it did and more. Matthew was so knowledgeable on each piece that caught my eye and took the time to describe each piece with a passion. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. in the end i got a beautiful pearl and diamond ring for my wife and she loves it so much. Perfection was her word for the gift. Thank you Matthew for all your help in finding the perfect gift for the special occasion. I would urge anyone searching for a memorabke piece of jewellery for that special occasion, anniversary, birthday or just impulse visit Courtville now. Matthew, Sarah and Mary won't dissappoint you. Will be back.

Purchased a beautiful antique ring for my wife for our 30th wedding anniversary a year ago but unfortunately lost a pearl. Went back to Courtville and Matthew could not have been more helpful in sourcing a new pearl in terms of size and shade. Ne effort a problem. No fuss just a tremendous service to resolve in no time. We are so grateful. We had a wonderful experience when we purchased the ring initially but to continue that experience with such a supportive and responsive backup service is unbelievable. Thank you so much Matthew and all at Courtville Antique Jewellers. We will without hesitation be back to your little treasure trove.

If you are shopping for value and first class customer service look no further than Matthew Weldon’s fabulous treasure trove in Powerscourt, just off Grafton Street in Dublin.
Himself and Alyce could not have been more pleasant to deal with this weekend. My daughter and I travelled to Dublin yesterday and purchase a stunning ring which was resized and ready for collection this morning.
They were both extremely helpful and it was such a pleasure to deal with them.
Don’t pass their door without going in for a look. I’ll definitely be back!

It was a pleasure and a privilege to find my antique engagement ring here and support a small Irish-owned business. Matthew is knowledgeable, genuine, trustworthy, friendly. Can't recommend him enough or the option of buying pre-loved rather than contributing to the demand for newly-mined diamonds.

Recently purchased my engagement ring in this fabulous shop. From the moment we entered the shop we felt very comfortable. Matthew was extremely genuine, friendly & good fun. I found him extremely trustworthy and valued his expert opinion. Matthew is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to all types of diamonds! There is such a beautiful selection of every type of diamond in the shop. I was spoilt for choice. I was so delighted I found my engagement ring here. It was sized and polished for me in a matter of 1 hour. I am delighted we could support this small Irish owned business. We couldn't recommend this fab shop enough. Thanks again Matthew. We look forward to returning for our wedding bands in the near future!

I purchased a beautiful Pearl & Diamond (Toi et Moi) antique ring to mark our 30th (Pearl) wedding in August. As I live outside Dublin and due to Covid 19 I decided to see if I could navigate a purchase online. I encountered the most helpful lady Aylce who successfully completed the sale via email and Zoom consultation. Alyce has a huge amount of knowledge and experience and diamonds and gemstones. Absolutely love my ring - thank you Alyce

Have always loved the idea of owning a vintage ring, one only I had, and stumbled upon Courtville online when looking for one. I am so glad to have found such a lovely business. I spoke with Alyce and Matthew, and could not fault their attention to detail and dedication to finding exactly what I wanted. They were both so accommodating and answered any queries I had throughout the process. The ring, packaging, communication and experience, 10/10.

I went here to buy a gift for my friend, the gentleman helping me searched through the entire shop to help me find exactly what I was looking for. The price was very reasonable and he even provided gift packaging. I would absolutely recommend this shop.
