Not listed on by many tour guides but is a not to miss spot for rock music lovers. Make sure you take guided tour of museum and studio. The do refer to Phil Lynott a lot so if you don't know him listen to some Thin Lizzy before you go.

Myself and another mom took a group of Girl Guides (age 10-13) recently and really enjoyed this. For the grown-ups it was filled with great memories-- tickets, photos, memorabilia of 70/80/90s era music, the rise of U2, Cranberries, Sinead O'Connor and more...but for the young ones, they loved all the gold records, the rehearsal room, playing real instruments, dressing up... Well worth a visit , such an informative and interesting tour. Visited here couple weeks ago seeing our own home attractions and this was a great tour with so much information. Well worth a visit and can even rock out whilst on the tour :)

You just don't realise how much talent has come out of our wee island of Ireland (North and South). Took a guided tour with the informative tour guide. All very enjoyable and even got to strum a guitar in a mocked up recording studio. A lot his historical equipment to view and for all Thin Lizzy fans there is some... More

Rock'n'Roll is all over the world. It's really nice there is somewhere you can explore and be informed about local history of it. I went because of U2, and got hit by the story behind Thin Lizzy. Also interactive music experience, you can play on a small stage. The only attention you might have is that it's only guided tour,... More

Even we were the only two person for the tour, the guide gave us a full presentation. He kept it interactive the whole time and took us into the experience. Also I had never seen such a huge audio-mixer before like the one in the studio part, it's worth to have a look!

We originally got here thinking it opened at 10am because google and a local tour guide also believed that was the case but it opened at 1130. Tour guide was nice, down to earth. If you love music then definately make a stop here as well as Whelens for live music!

Yesterday I took part in a tour of the Irish Rock 'n' Roll Museum Experience in Temple Bar. Our Guide was a lovely guy named Dave, who made the whole tour most enjoyable. It was fascinating to be able to walk through the working rehearsal spaces and record studios. The extra snippets of information that Dave provided us with, made... More

Wow that a great tour. To start you get your VIP pass and its not kidding. On the tour was just me and my partner and the tour guide was amazing. Took the time to explain each guitar and its history , what artists had recorded at the studio. I was highly impressed with the whole thing. We also got... More
