Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had a brill time - Alan was a fantastic guide. Clearly very passionate about Irish music history and very funny. We learnt a lot. His little homemade sticker gift was a lovely touch and is now on my phone case.

This place was a real highlight of our trip to Dublin. So much great music comes from Ireland and Alan (our tour guide) was great in telling the stories and engaging everyone on the tour. A real bonus on our tour was 3 strangers getting together on lead guitar, bass and drums to give us a great rendition of a Rory Gallagher track. If you’re a music fan then this place is an absolute must on your Dublin itinerary.

Spectacular visit. A fantastic tour to get to know Irish bands better. A museum inside the recording studios and in places where great bands trained is top-notch. Guide Alan is the soul of this museum. Without him the visit wouldn't be the same. absolutely brilliant.

Bonjour,
Je suis à Dublin avec un groupe de 6 personnes, dont 5 parlent uniquement le français. Est-ce qu'il y a possibilité d'avoir une visite en français en fin d'après-midi le 18.9 ou en journée le 20.9.
Meilleures salutations.

I'm very interested in taking this tour, but do NOT want to pretend to be on stage playing drums or guitar. Do you have to participate in that? Definitely a deal breaker for me.

Hi there,
Please rest assured that you absolutely do not have to do that. As part of the tour, we do give the opportunity to try the instruments in our 'Jam Room', but this is in no way compulsory. We frequently get musicians on the tour and this moment sometimes provides an unplanned bit of live music, but it is only for fun and is never forced. The tour is primarily a journey through Temple Lane Studios, complete with stories memorabilia and hopefully a good few laughs along the way. It's a very relaxed tour, we hope you join us soon.

Hi, my 13 year old daughter loves music and writing her own songs, does it matter she wouldn’t of heard of Thin Lizzy etc as I think she would love to see a recording studio.

No, it isn’t. From their website: “Unfortunately, due to the nature of the tour, which spans two buildings, we cannot provide full wheelchair access. We apologise for any inconvenience this causes.”

Can you tell me the name of the band in the video that play immediately before An Emotional Fish, the video had writing on the walls behind the singer. I asked Anastasia at the time and forgot to, go back to her at the end of the tour.
