Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great pub. Nice mix of locals and a handful of tourists. Nothing fancy just great service (Sláinte George) and delicious Guinness. Not to many of these old style pubs left. Must be cherished

At the last evening in Dublin we just needed to go to a pub and drink a pint of Guinness.
Lovely service, even though it was only 15min before closing. It's a calm and convivial.

Friendly pub off the beaten path with nice selection of beer. Good music and karaoke for entertainment. Join the local gathering there!

Had live music. It was very chill almost felt like you walked into someone's living room. Great laid back atmosphere to catch up and have a drink

Our first day in Dublin we were so lucky to find this pub. Friendly staff nothing a problem even helping me select a beer to suit my taste. Bar meals were excellent and not really expensive . Would definitely recommend as a friendly local pub plus the locals were really great.

Stayed in Christchurch at a rental home so this pub became our local for the weekend. From the second we arrived we were treated as locals and regulars by Stevie and the rest of the staff. Being invited behind the bar to learn how to pour a pint of Guinness, being provided with free sandwiches for watching the football on the big screens and being given recommendations of what to do/not to do during our time in Dublin. All staff and locals were very friendly and helpful - such as locals helping us to book taxis etc, would definitely return if staying in Dublin again. How a local pub should be run.

Genuine Dublin pub with an excellent pint of Guinness. Bar staff are great and the locals are friendly. One of the best pubs in the Liberties.
