Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Spent an evening here, first sitting 7:30 - 9:00 and had a blast. Three acts and an entertaining and riotout compere who had the audience in stiches. Have to say on eof the funniest events I'v been to for a long time. Venue is upstairs above a pub where you can get pre act drinks as required. All lots of fun and very reasonably priced.

Really recommend this. Went to the late show on Saturday 11pm. Mix of locals and tourists. Small darkish room upstairs with a little bar in the corned and everyone sitting round mixed tables. Was worried I wouldn't understand the accent or local jokes but laughed through the whole thing. Definitely worth it. Had a blast!

Great performance by all the comedians. Really taken aback by how dynamic they all were. On a Thursday. Would recommend

Came to check out the local scene while in Dublin. Unfortunately the door man exploded when I asked how much tickets were / who was performing.
Reasonable questions I thought as there was no info on their website / socials / with the bar staff.
Nonetheless we were met with an abusive tirade and quickly left. He was peaking off his head but still no amount of comedy can make up for that sort of experience.

We decided to go to this having seen a display outside the bar and thought it would be a nice change. We were greeted by what I can only describe as a rude and sarcastic man. I asked if there was anymore tables for free for 2 people and he replied by asking what kind of place do you think this is? I looked at my partner and thought he must be joking, he guarded the door with his life and questioned us to the point of interrogation, continually repeating if we were sure we really wanted to come in. After eventually letting us into the actual bar, he pulled me back and shouted where do you think you’re going did you forget to pay, despite no signs or tables or any indication that we were to pay an admission fee. We had no problem in paying this and j asked how much it was and when he replied it was €15 euro, we got ready to pay and he finished by saying sure why don’t you go outside and have a think about it. I have never been spoken like that in all my life. Myself and my partner are only 24 years old and we have more manners than that misogynistic man ever had. I was incredibly disappointed by how we were treated by this old grey bearded man who clearly enjoyed his power play a bit more than he should. Wouldn’t recommend this place - I’m sure the comedy club is great it’s just a pity this narcissistic staff member drove us away.

What a great cap to a night out!!
These guys are so popular they do 2 shows on a Saturday night so we thought we could just rock up and see it. Not so - the 7.15 show was sold out, and the girl on the door said the only way to get on the next show was to go on line on our phones and get tickets - which we did. Was well worth it !!!
There are 4 acts in the show with a 10 min toilet / booze break after the first 2 acts. Really raw comedy. The compere ripped mercilessly on one young lad in the audience, which I have to say was very funny for everyone, but in truth the poor lad was mortified, and I encourage the host to rip on those who can (a) stick up for themselves, and (b) won’t mind so much. This poor guy was neither of those!
The compère also ripped on me as a Brit - but in fairness I agreed with his comments re Brexit and the UK, and it was all in good humour. Plus I am unembarrassable - and yes, that is a challenge!!
The venue is really compact and friendly - very personal. Absolutely loved every minute of the show - all the acts were great. One act in particular stood out; can’t remember his name, but he looked a lot like Jesus (amazed he didn’t make something of that in his routine). His act was super-original, (as were the others in fairness). This guy brought out the gritty reality of growing up in the North - really good stuff.
Definitely recommend this venue. They let you take your Guinness up from the pub downstairs, and even remind you when the shows about to start, (which is helpful after so many Guinness’s).

Came to the comedy club not expecting much as its a very small club, but i was surprised as even on a sunday evening the small room was almost full and as the comedians came out the crowd wasnt as interactive as it could've been but the comedians still made the evening thoroughly enjoyable and I'll definitley be going again.

I went to early show on last Saturday, and I can say I had a pleasant time, and even laughed on more than one occasion.
Price is 10€, is not so little, but again not too much. I would dare the say price is just right.
Space is too small for amount of people they admitted, so around 10 people were left standing during the whole 2 hour show.
Prices of drinks seemed a bit excessive to me, but since I didn't visit other pubs in Dublin I can't say for sure (pint of Guinness 5.7 € or something like that).
In total there were 4 acts.
First MC (host) does some intro of 10 minutes where he warms up the audience, and interacts with them. Then comedians come 1 by 1 and do their acts, and MC between them. After 2 acts there's a 15 minute break.
MC has some good and funny lines, which I had a feeling where mostly made up on the spot, so kudos to him for that.
Of the 4 acts of that night, I can only complain about one, lady that come on second and was showing some picture, and my main reason of complaint was that she was too quiet and couldn't hear her well, so I basically was bored during her act.
Other 3 comedians had each few good ringers, but I can't say any of them hit me with 100% of their jokes.
All in all, I'm glad I went, and would probably repeat the experience.
