Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Where to begin, we arrived on a stag do for the weekend in Dublin and upon arrival here were greeted by two members of staff curious about our Barnsley accents and were treated to an Essex style Love Island impersonation. Then our host John took us down to do the Black Queen escape room which pitted a group of 4 against a group of 3 in an escape / be caught experience. We thought the escape room was incredibly well made with some clever puzzles and we thought John was a total credit to the company with how helpful and friendly he was.
I won't repeat our team names though, not appropriate at all.

Over the course of a single week I returned 3 times to complete all 3 rooms Adventure Rooms have to offer
All 3 Rooms were great and the staff were even better.
Both Leah & Michelle were amazing to deal with.
Pleasant throughout, accommodating, fun to interact with and just generally made the experience better across the board.
Having been to most of the Escape Room options in Dublin, I can say AR is right up there as the best experience
The room themes were great, challenging but not TOO difficult as to the point of not being able to enjoy it
I would rank the rooms
Mafia > Black Queen > World Trip
Even in saying that, World Trip was still great.
I found Adventure Rooms through Tik Tok just by chance, so shout out to the TikTok girl, who I now know is Michelle, for selling the place to me in the first place!
A+ to all involved... especially Leah & Michelle :)

My friends and I booked this as something fun and different and it did not disappoint. We had a great time from start to finish which was helped by our fantastic host Leah, she went the extra mile to make sure that we had the best time possible.

We had a great time at adventure rooms! We chose the mafia experience and it was so much fun, really got us thinking! Michelle (our game master for the day) was very helpful with hints when we got stuck and is generally such a lovely person to deal with! She made us feel comfortable and made the experience even better.

My daughter would love to do this for her 12th birthday with 7 friends .
Is it suitable for kids ?? If so which game room - many thanks

Hi there.
Thanks for getting in touch.
As people have mentioned, it can be quite challenging for 12 year olds. Having said that, if there is an adult present, they may help. I had my 11 year old nephew play with his friends for his birthday and the adult with them actually hindered them as the kids knew exactly what to do so it really depends on the group as a whole. Although we have an age limit of 16. If the parents decide to book, we leave it up to them but with fore warning that it might possibly be too difficult. Go quest is much more suited to this age.
I hope this helps in some way.
Regards.
Keith.

I'm a bit confused about the pricing, for 4 players, is it €80 for just one room? If so, how long do you get in that room? (I've read some reviews saying they completed a '30 minute room' - would we be paying €80 as a group for a 30 minute session or is it longer?) Thanks!
Adventure R

Hi Maria.
Thanks for getting in touch.
The 30 minutes you are reading about is for a duel format which is made up of 2 x 30 minute rounds. THis is for larger groups.
You are only interested in a classic format which is 1 hour.
The price is €80 for that.
The duel format works as follow.
When we have a group more than 6-7 people we divide them between two rooms.
Team a has to try catch team b before they escape. After 30 minutes we stop the game, reset it and then the teams switch rooms and play for another 30 minutes. This is the duel format.
For single games or “classic games” which you would play with 4 people. You play from start to finish and you have 1 hour.
I hope his helps.
Regards.
Keith.

what is the biggest group that can play together for a corporate work outing in the evening?

Hi Donal.
Apologies.
Just seeing your question now.
At any given time we can accommodate up to 62 people provided that all 5 of our games are available at both locations which are 1 minute apart. I hope this helps.
If I can be of any further assistance, please feel free to contact us via email.
Kind regards.
Keith.

Hello. Sorry for my english. We are a group of 6 french friends, we ‘ll go to Dublin on april for few days and we'd like doing this activity. (we used to do escape games but in Paris and in french !) But our english is not so good. Is it possible ? And which adventure would be easier for us ? Thank you for your answer ! Kind regards Sophia

Hi Sophia, thanks for contacting us. It is more than possible to complete the games without being a fluent English speaker. In your case, we would advise booking the Black Queen, considering you are familiar with escape rooms.
We look forward to seeing you then.
Thanks from the AdventureRooms Dublin team

You are right in the middle of the city centre so you will have no problem with lunch options! Walk towards Liffey Street lower!

Do you have to have a minimum number of people to book?
Adventure R
Dublin, Ireland19 contributions
Hi there.
Thanks for getting in touch.
A 2/3 player minimum can play the original Swiss and a 3 player minimum can play the black queen.
I hope this helps.
Regards.
Keith.

Hi,
Is it possible to visit your place twice? or you have only one set of riddles ?
Adventure R
Dublin, Ireland19 contributions
Hi.
Once a game is complete, we don't recommend playing the same game again.
If on the other hand, only 50% of the game has been completed we ask clients if they're prefer to come back and finish the game.
I hope this helps.
Regards.
Keith.

Bonjour, est ce que le jeux peut se dérouler en français et comment faire pour réserver ? Merci Mélanie

Hi,
Apologies, my French is not so good. For most of the game it is not neccessary to be able to speak english. If there is someone in the group who understands english you should not have too many problems in our game.
Merci.
Keith.

Hi we're thinking of doing this for a party of 10 aged between 22 and 72!
Would we be better going for The Duel or 2 x Classics? Also considering ages, which would be more appropriate Original Swiss or Black Queen?
Adventure R

Hi there.
Keith from a Adventurerooms.
I would recommend the duel format for the Original Swiss if it's your first escape game. info about the duel can be found on our website and we've an extensive FAQs to answer 90% of commonly asked questions.
I hope this helps.

We are considering coming next month during our trip to Dublin and one of our party will be 20 weeks pregnant will this be an issue or can she still take part?

That shouldn't be a problem at all from what I saw, none of the puzzles/problems require any sort of real physical activity or stain. I think it would be perfectly fine and definitely a very enjoyable experience for her!
