We did a tour with Peter who was really enthusiastic, attentive and knowledgeable. He was new to the job but we could not tell! The tour was very well paced and enjoyable, even for non-whisky drinkers. Highly recommend and the pricing is very reasonable - we definitely thought it was value for money.

Teeling is a family run distillery and the love and care that clearly goes into their whiskey translates to their tour. We used our Go Dublin passes to visit, which worked seamlessly, and our tour guide, Jamie, ensured we had an informative and entertaining visit. Highly recommended!

The tour was highly informative and really great to see the actual process of whiskey distilling. The guide Peter really knew his stuff and answered all questions he was asked with ease. The tasting was very well done. For a true Distillery experience in Dublin this is the best one.

Having been on lots of distillery tours (whisky and gin in Scotland and rum in the Carribean) this was a fairly typical tour and much of the information was familiar. However, there were one or two new things such as the Lego model of the distillery, a storyteller as the 'warm-up act' while we were waiting for our tour. the naming of the stills, a clever display to show the effects of the barrels used, the angels' share and the effects of aging in the barrels, finding out why no whiskey is stored in a city centre distillery, and our first tastes of Irish whiskey. The single grain was particularly good and was one of our duty-free choices when flying home from the airport.

Fantastic to hear that we brought something new to your previous distillery tours and the grain is according to many of us here, one of the favorites from the Trinity tasting

For anyone visiting the capital I would definitely recommend a tour of the Teelings Distillery in Dublin 8. This tour was so interesting myself and my husband throughly enjoyed it. The staff were so friendly and our tour guy Cormac was not only informative but also such a lovely guy 😊 A wonderful day spent in Dublin and a tour not to be missed. Well done to all involved, such a great Irish success story. Thank you Teelings for a fabulous day xx

We will be in Dublin 13-16 of December. Since we are 16 persons, do we need to book the tour in advance? Thanks

It's better, cause they have lot of people going there. Maybe 16 persons you could also have a private tour, just ask them. Normal tour it's 25/30 persons max.
Wieso steht keine Uhrzeit bei den Datum dabei? Wann soll man gehen?

Sorry, but I do not know the distillery's business hours. However, you have to book a tour, either in advance or on site.

We will be visiting Ireland early May but will be staying about an hour from Dublin and will be driving. Is there parking at the distillery or is there somewhere to park and access public transportation to there?

There is parking at the facility as well as near by. Should not be a problem

Headed to Dublin in early september and would love to do the tour at teeling. Does teeling make a whiskey that you can only purchase at the distillery? Such as a distillery edition.
Teeling Whiskey Distillery
Dublin, Ireland
Hi Chris,
Apologies for the delay in response. We do indeed. We have a few different options. We've just recently released our new Distillery Exclusive Whiskey which can only be purchased in the distillery. You can also get a personalised label produced for it in our Gift Shop. We also have a Fill Your Own option where you can actually fill your own bottle of whiskey from the cask. Hope that answers all your questions, looking forward to welcoming you in September!

A tour is included with a tasting of one whiskey and one mixed drink. You can upgrade to a different tasting.

Just wondering what the menu of the cafe is, as I can't find it on line. I work locally and visited the distillery during the week, did the tour, which was brilliant, but did not have food.

Although we didn't eat anything at the cafe, my recollection was there were baked goods (scones, etc.) and some light salads and sandwiches. The tea was awesome.

Is the bar where the tastings take place accessible to someone who hasn't paid for the tour?id like my husband to do the tour and I'd join him for the tastings or for a drink at the end. I've a bad back and too much standing still at a tour would really hurt.

I think it is possible when you ask it up front. However the tour is not longer than 45minutes. And you walk in between. When you discuss it up front it might be possible to bring a chair with you!
