We ate at the Hairy Lemon twice during our three day stay in Dublin, which tells you something about the restaurant's food and friendly atmosphere. The menu is high quality pub grub with a flair. It has some of what you would expect in an Irish pub but also some surprises including vegetarian dishes. The menu accommodates many dietary needs... More

Great pub. We were not in Ireland even 12 hours yet and Darren made us feel so at home! Great joint, great service, good food and a really cool vibe & atmosphere. Lots of beer selections and very nice local live music. Family run - so do the right thing and stop on by. You will not regret it!!!

Well worth a visit, a good bar with a great pint of Guinness. Has the real feel of an Irish bar with friendly efficient staff.

Visited with my wife. First during a Friday afternoon. It was the best pint of Guinness I had on our visit to Dublin. It is a fairly standard Irish pub with a slant to rugby and an interesting story for its name. We didn't eat but the food we saw looked lovely especially at 'the French table'(you had to be... More

Great pub to watch a game in. Friendly and with a cafe attached so you can even get something to eat.

Enjoyed a great dinner with family and met the brothers that own and run the place. Excellent traditional entrees and personal service. Stopped in a couple times during our holiday for a pint and had the same great experience.

Fantastic atmosphere and really good Guinness! Highly recommended. Staff were all very freindly and the drinks were reasonably priced, especially compared to the Temple Bar area.

We were visiting from the US and we were looking for a place to eat lunch. We happened to come upon the Hairy Lemon and we knew that we couldn’t pass up a place called the Hairy Lemon. We were seated immediately and it filled up very quickly because patrons were coming in to watch a rugby game. However, we... More

Superb staff that was friendly and knowledgeable. Our food was outstanding. We all shared bread pudding for desert, it was to die for! The best bread pudding I have ever had!
