Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Our guide Jacob, a history major and a native of Dublin, gave us a wonderful two hour tour. This company was recommended by Rick Steves, and as usual, he was spot on for a quality experience.

A delightful tour of parts of the city and a bit of history. We booked a private tour for four of us with James or dryer and he met us at our hotel lobby and from that vantage point tour of the city. He provided us with a short overview of Irish history starting back in the ancient times moving forward into the early 20th century. Some of us were a bit more familiar with the history but all in all fascinating and exactly to the point. This fit in very nicely with the tours of the buildings and sites that he showed during the walking trail. One of us was somewhat mobility impaired and he adapted his speed nicely to accommodate that individual. A nice way to spend the morning. This was a private tour but I suspect that a public Tour would have been nearly as good although perhaps not as personalized.

The guided walk by Pauline was fabulous. She showed us so much of Dublin and had a story for every place she took us to. She was also very patient when members of our 6 strong group asked questions and at the end we really felt we knew Dublin and its amazing history. She recommended EPIC museum which we visited in the afternoon and could recommend it to everyone. A very interactive tour (which would appeal to teenagers) and was very informative about the emigration of Irish people to every corner of the world

A good tour with local and national history told with heart and humour. James was clearly a local and knew his stuff, linking stories to the nationalities of the group.
