Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This tour was fantastic! Our tour guide Tom was so engaging and informative..he really brought the events of the 1916 Rising to life, little details that you don't get from a guide book..to walk the same streets and be amongst the buildings, Dublin Castle and City Hall , where the events took place was truly an amazing experience. I cannot recommend this enough..from the introduction at the Internatoonal Bar ( where Tom gave us a potted history of Ireland from 11th century onwards to give us context) to the finish outside the GPO , this was a truly enjoyable tour that I would thoroughly recommend.

The tour was in one word excellent! Lorcan was the heart and soul of this tour, so energetic, enthusiastic and most of all knowledgeable. The man was like a walking Irish Wikipedia and made every second of this tour worthwhile. It is evident that he loves what he does and I’m so happy for him 😊

It's always a pleasure to tour with someone who is both knowledgeable AND enthusiastic. Lorcan Collins brings an encyclopedic knowledge to this tour, able to dredge up the most obscure fact from the corners of his memory with ease. If you're interested at all in the origins of modern Irish history, you owe to yourself to spend two hours of your stay Dublin on the tour. Iontach maith, Lorcan!

This was a very informative two-hour walking tour with our enthusiastic guide, Tom. He pointed out sites where the Easter Rising took place. I certainly won’t walk past these places again without recalling the gruesome details.

I appreciated that Tom did his best to take us on routes to avoid the pouring rain.

Despite the rain, it was a beautiful and touching tale. I especially liked the parts that connected the events of 1916 to the broader events happening elsewhere. And learning how the countries of non-Irish attendees of the tour were somehow involved/otherwise impacted the context of the uprising.

An amazing experience! Informative for all regardless of their knowledge of Irish history. Somber moments but also inspiring and witty. Our tour guide, Tom, displayed a keen knowledge of the subject and his storytelling made the whole experience very enjoyable. I can’t imagine coming to Dublin and not doing this tour. The information opens the door to everything you need to know to understand Irish culture.

From start to finish an excellent tour delivered by Tom (our guide for the day). Tom's knowledge was outstanding. We came away super informed abt the 1916 Rebellion. Lots of human stories peppered through the harsh historical facts of the 1916 Easter Rising. Plus the weather was on our side and side bonus we got our daily steps in. Yeah!! Highly highly recommend

An absolutely fantastic walking tour by Lorcan. There is so much history to absorb. Lorcan's incredible knowledge of the subject and finely tuned sense of humour made it the best 2 hours spent on a drizzly Friday in Dublin. Thank you!
