Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We ate there recently and received very poor service at the carvery. I complained to the owner and was offered if I came back l would be looked after and to ask for a staff member, as sol could be embarrassed further no thanks, this after l was overcharged for my childrens food, l declined this as why would l give them even more money, poor experience and the complaint not dealt with by the owner.

The Morgue offers a Carvery that never fails to impress, Corn Beef is my Favourite , served with vegetables and Mash or Roast Potatoes. To top it all the Staff from Chefs to floor staff are so polite and helpful. Many many Pensioners are treated to The Morgues homely cuisine daily.

A very comfortable pub with a large selection of beers on tap. The service is what you would expect from a proper bar that is well organised and run. There is a decent smoking area with heaters and the prices are fairly typical. There is food available and what we saw looked very good.

Highly recommended good quality carvery food offering a selection of hot joints Turkey, Ham, Roast Beef with all the trimmings of potatoes, vegetables, gravy or a selection of salads. Excellent value of €15pp including coffee.
Some of the elderly customers are personally know to the staff and it was lovely to see the friendly service. We felt very comfortable bringing foreign visitors to lunch here it was a very good Irish experience.

We were heading out to a friends for a few drinks and we decided why not the morgue . Cosy restaurant at rere of pub friendly staff we were only going to have a main course but we opted to share garlic mushrooms which was enough for two. For mains we were going for double penne pasta x 2 but i opted for the special of hake with a herb crust delicious no deserts but a good bottle of vino . We will return here again

I have been visiting here for many years for the food which, at lunch time, is consistently delicious. The place is well run and clean and tidy.

All 3 of us really liked our dinner. It was very busy but very affordable and all the staff were attentive and friendly. Nice atmosphere with people of all ages eating. Definitely worth stopping by!
