- Hope CLansdowne, Pennsylvania8 contributionsGreat visitMy son works in the sports industry in the US so was very interested in what an Irish stadium was like. The tour was great! - MLTNorthallerton, United Kingdom39 contributionsGreat tour - excellent value. This tour has a good balance of sport and history of this very impressive venue. Covers all the aspects that you would hope to see from the changing rooms, media, hospitality, pitch and stands. There’s some great displays and films in the museum and also some good activities for children. Cafe does brilliant coffee and is well priced with friendly staff.Visited October 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 28 October 2023
- Sinead ODublin, Ireland1 contributionCroke Park Stadium TourFantastic insight into Irish history as well as the sporting history. Stadium was magnificent and kids loved being able to run up the steps and lift the Liam MCarthy cup. Our guide Evan made the tour for us, he was aware of all the different mix of people on the tour from the kids to locals to tourists and adapted parts of the tour accordingly. He is a great asset to Croke Park.Visited November 2023Travelled with familyWritten 11 November 2023
- susanManarola, Italy28 contributionsTour Guides were fabFantastic tour. We had two great and enthusiastic guides. Seamus and ?? They clearly love the GAA. We were in the dressing rooms, the media room, got to go pitch-side and walk up the steps to hold the winning cup. Lots of information given and a bit of banter had with all.Visited November 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 27 November 2023
- Valerie F2 contributionsGreat day outThe stadium tour was very good, but the guide did get a few facts wrong. It felt like he was winging it a bit on some of the facts. The stuff were very nice and courteous. the museum is excellent, a lot of information. the interactive games would have been fantastic if they worked correctly. However, the majority of the interactive games were not working properly they need to be kept in good working order. Overall a really good tour but upstairs in the museum needs some TLCVisited December 2023Travelled with familyWritten 29 December 2023
- Rosey300Larbert, United Kingdom62 contributionsFantastic tour with super guideI would really recommend the tour and visit to the museum even if you don’t know anything about Gaelic sports. The tour was really enjoyable and informative, our guide Seamus was exceptional. He was very knowledgable and had a great manner, encouraging questions and making it relatable. We were visiting from Scotland and can wholeheartedly say Seamus made this a special tour. He covered the whole of the stadium from the changing rooms, press areas, hospitality to the famous GAA Irish commentator to Bloody Sunday. Fantastic tour!! THANK YOU Seamus! The time we spent in the museum was also good fun as well as being informative there are many interactive sessions, kicking balls and testing skills with bat. All good fun and well worth a visit!!! Make sure you know the right entrance as you cannot access from all stands.Visited January 2024Travelled with familyWritten 7 January 2024
- 1869KFC7 contributions3rd biggest stadium in EuropeEasy to get to with a nice cafe and museum. Really friendly staff , in particular our tour guide Annette Coyle. A wealth of GAA knowledge and such a warm lovely person. Great views on a clear day which we had despite it being bitterly coldVisited January 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 25 January 2024
- Gavin CDublin, Ireland2 contributionsLeprechaunVery good tour. Only criticism was that the tour guide referred to the President of Ireland as a "leprechaun" while showing us where he sits in the stadium during matches. As an irish man, this felt disrespectful given the GAAs roots.Visited February 2024Travelled with familyWritten 18 February 2024
- KenmayoWestport, Ireland9 contributionsBrilliant ExperienceHad a tour with Jess today, all I can say is what a wonderful experience and great craic. For someone so you with that level of expertise and knowledge (besides the odd mayo v Dublin dig🤣) from beginning to the end it was a fantastic tour. All staff members were mega friendly and accommodating. Great value for the experience. Jess is made for the job, I’ll definitely recommend to everyone!!Visited February 2024Travelled with friendsWritten 24 February 2024
- Nick G1 contributionWonderful afternoonWe arrived in Dublin on the day of our tour. Our flight was delayed so we called to re-arrange and they were happy to accommodate us on a later tour the same day. When we arrived my son and I were the only 2 on the tour. Our guide was Maeve who was very friendly and knowledgable and the tour was brilliant. I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Dublin, the Stadium is fantastic and the place is steeped in both history and cultural significance for the people of Ireland. Thank you very much for a great afternoon.Visited March 2024Travelled with familyWritten 13 March 2024

We were at Croke Park about an hour before the tour so we had our lunch at the restaurant and it was really lovely and not atall expensive. Our tour started and we had a great guide, she was very nice to the schoolchildren who were very interested and it was great to see how excited they were when we were up on the stands and entered the dressing rooms. It was a great day and great to have walked in the footsteps of all the players who have entertained us and we have admired down the years. It was mid-term and had some families and I'm sure they all enjoyed it too

Really enjoyed our tour of the stadium. GAA fans will appreciate the tour of the dressing rooms, the warm-up area, walking out through the tunnel, standing pitchside, it felt like we saw the whole ground. Media areas, hospitality boxes, and the views of the pitch and the city from the upper areas were fantastic. The tour has something for everyone, our guide blended the history of the games and the Park with the modern day. He was able to show us video clips and audio guides via clever multimedia devices that were lent to us. And after the tour, the museum and interactive sports area (which my boys loved). Very good value for money.
The morning after our visit, the GAA announced that 83% of their income was redistributed to counties, clubs and schools, to support the future of the sports.
Make the time to visit Croke Park.

The sheer size of this place is unbelievable and to think that it was pure magic for 2 nights in 2016 when I saw the River Tour here....it has to be in my top 5 Bruce Springsteen shows of all time. Tip, use a bike taxi to get around bc traffic is awful!

Travelling from Australia, our first place to visit was Croke Park. With many similarities to Australian Rules Football, we already had an interest in Gaelic Football and immediately felt at home at Croke Park.
Staff were welcoming and the Museum was incredibly informative, tracing the history of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) and it's relationship to the Irish Republic. The museum is as good a sporting museum as you will ever see.
The tour was lead by a knowledgeable and friendly guide who was able to share stories from the stadium's history as well as a lessons in the Gaelic language. Our kids were able to be photographed with e GAA football and hurling trophies. We saw all aspect of the stadium.
We finished up in the gift shop which is full of GAA merchandise. Great stuff.
The cafeteria served us an immense lunch which went down very well.

The video brings the experience of going to a hurling or football match alive. You get to experience what it’s like to be a player: the changing rooms, the tunnel, the pitch. You can see Dublin from the top of this ship shaped museum, see the broadcasters’ section and the corporate boxes. Then there is the history associated with Croke Park and its link to the evolution of the Irish State. The exhibition space is small but you can have fun trying out these amazing amateur sports. You should see if you can get tickets to watch a game. The prices are very reasonable. They also have music concerts but generally they sell out, so you would have to book those well in advance of your trip.

I attended Coke Park on August 11th. We were treated to a stadium tour and visited the museum after. From the outset staff were absolutely amazing! Caring and calm while carefully directing an amazing tour despite the restrictions. Ger Gregan was our guide and led us through an amazing set of audio visuals, dressing room and stadium touring and answered all our annoying questions with patience, huge enthusiasm and lots of laughs along the way.
Thank you to everyone in the Croke Park Museum for your professionalism and sunny smiles during this time

Went on the 3pm tour. Despite ticket covering tour and museum by the time tour was finished we had about 15 mins in the museum before the building was closing which was not anywhere near enough time to have a look round the museum.
We weren't aware we could have been earlier and did the museum first.

The tour was very comprehensive. My group saw the field, the media room, the dressing rooms, and more. The tour guide was also very knowledgeable, made sure everyone was on the same page, and welcomed questions. Even if you aren’t a huge sports fan, I would still highly recommend it—the tour connects Croke Park with a lot of significant events in Irish history!

Took the Croke Park Stadium Tour yesterday. Our guide Ger "with a G" was first class, informative and entertaining. The tour is well worth the cost and access to areas of the stadium is very impressive. The Museum is well laid out and easy to navigate, with lots of items of interest to both young and old. I will recommend it to anyone visiting Dublin, even you you know little or nothing about the GAA and Gaelic games the stadium and the GAA are part of the Irish social fabric . I will be back

Do you go into the stands as part of the tour? If so, does the guide take the tour on to the Hill 16 terraces?
Written 8 May 2023
Hi, as part of our tour we went to the Hogan stand/ press area and got to see inside some of the corporate boxes. We did not go to Hill 16. Hope this helps! Michelle

What does the skyline tour includes? And the non-skyline.
Also, is there any bathrooms along the way?
Thanks
Written 15 August 2019
the Stadium tour takes you to the dressing rooms, through the players tunnel, into the VIP seats, into the press box. We also got to see a private box and the green room where performers hang out before concerts.
The skyline tour, you walk from one side of the stadium roof to another while stopping to look at the views of Dublin and hearing about the history

Anyone know if any family offers available for the tours please?
Written 9 September 2018
Yes, they do offers for families. We had 2 adults and 2 children and we got the family ticket...definitely cheaper than the individual pricing....

Is this a suitable for an elderly person using a walking stick
Written 6 September 2018
Yes, I believe you would be fine. We did not go up and down stairs when we were going to the different levels, we used an escalator. There were some stairs in getting to the viewing stands, but there would be an elevator also - the facility is very modern and is accessible. You don't have to book the tour ahead of time, the tour times are on the website. But I think it would be a good idea to arrive 30 mins early, and discuss with the guide exactly what your limits might be, and they can then look after you. Irish people are very friendly and helpful, so I believe they will look after you. We did sit and listen to the guide about 4 or 5 different times, we were not on our feet the whole time. Hope this helps,

Hi not the right forum but hoping you can help, I have lucky dip tickets for the rolling stones concert but cant figure out where you are supposed to pick them up and opening/closing times of the the pick up place, Im assuming its the ticketmaster office bbut assumptions usually lead to disasters :). Thanks.
Written 15 May 2018
There is hardly any parking at the stadium when an event is going on. I would park just north of Liffey around O'Connell st as there are a number of reasonable parking lots (suggest Clery's Q-Park ) then take taxi to North Circular Rd and Russell St this is where Gardia block traffic getting any closer to stadium from there its about a 300 yard walk taxi cost for 3 of us euro 12 each way, If you are coming from Belfast by train it might be easier to go train to taxi to stadium. Sorry don't know anything about ticketmaster pickup the Gaelic Football tickets we had were print at home and bring to stadium.
