Beautiful park. The only downside is the Coffee Shop. The service in the Coffee Shop (Brambles?) is simply awful... The waiting staff look so unhappy, lazy, careless and annoyed at the same time. And the food is really forgettable

Beautiful walk around the grounds. Parking can be a bit tight on the weekends. Holds a small market on the weekends. On site small coffee shop with with friendly staff. Large play ground at the back beside football fields.

Brought my nieces and my Mum to the Park. We parked at the car park at the front, had a look at the stalls ( market at the weekend which is mostly food offerings but with another couple of stalls of other items), then as it started to rain we went into the tea rooms where you can get hot... More

There are two playgrounds (that I know of) in Markey Park, both of which are excellent. The one we visited was clean, well maintained and suitable for all ages. you can also drive into the park and park your car right opposite this particular play ground. Within the playground they also have a number of wooden "animals" for children to... More

Dublin is great for the number of public parks. Most have had fantastic children's playgrounds added to them over the last few years and they make a great day out for the family.
