Having been bought a package for the Spa I went and had a look on here and I was a bit underwhelmed by some of the reviews. I am happy to say my experience was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The place was spotless apart from a few dirty glasses left in the relaxation room when I first went... More

Visited this month for the first time for a blow dry. My stylist wasn't friendly. My friend got a lovely guy who went above and beyond and ensured her hair was perfect. Lovely products were used to shampoo and condition my hair. Had a cup of tea . It was awful. Made from a nespresso machine and it seemed to... More

After a consultation with the Shelbourne Spa, I booked myself in for an elemis Exotic Coconut Body Rub and Milk Ritual Wrap. Even though, an exfoliation treatment is less about relaxation and more about results, the trick is to make it all as seamless and relaxing as possible, while still getting great results. I would offer that my treatment at... More

I went to the shelbourne spa and was really disappointed by the swimming pool, steam room and sauna experience. There was one child diving into the pool (which is totally unsafe), also balancing on his fathers head and walking the length of the pool. Although impressive there was an awful lot of screaming and splashing, making the pool out of... More

While in Dublin, we wanted to go to a nice spa for a celebration. Based on the Shelbourne's website, I thought we were booking a top rated spa. (Yes, my fault for relying on the website and not actual reviews.) There was nothing top-rated about this spa. The layout was strange, the facilities could have used more cleaning, the amenities... I brought my 20 year old daughter here last week for a treatment. We arrived about 10.15, receptionist extremely courteous and friendly (didn't say her name though). We were shown the changing rooms and changed into our swim suit. Lovely robes and slippers provided. We had a swim, sauna and steam. We then went upstairs to the relation room which... More

I used to love the Shelbourne Spa, having gone myself and buying friends giftcards there. But lately, I've not been impressed. The ladies' changing room used to be sparkling clean and have dy-hand towels, shower caps, cotton balls, deodorant, hairspray, etc. Most of these have disappeared over the past year. During my most recent visit, I asked a salon employee... More

warning to other first-timers to this spa (will be our only time based on our experience). although you are encouraged to use the facilities and relaxation room, there is a time limit which we were not made aware of and were rudely asked to leave in front of other guests!!! the embarrassment of being shamed in front of others and... I work in the city and have been looking for somewhere to have my hair blow dried and having seen the TV series The Shelbourne I knew they had opened up a salon and decided to give it a try and wow have I been impressed. The salon it self is located in a beautiful room at the front of... More
