About The Gravedigger Ghost Tour
Come and join us on Ireland's only 4D bus ride - The Gravedigger Ghost Bus Tour! - Sight, sound, smell and taste just got horrible! The tour starts at Trinity College where your guide will transport you back some 600 years ago to when the old Augustinian Priory and of course the plague house were there. But just ignore the coughing and listen to his tales of a plague-ravaged Dublin as we explore the weird and wonderful events that have taken place in times gone by, unearthing legends and ghosts from Dublin's past.

The history about the plague, the ghost stories, destinations on the tour and actors were great! Advise anyone wanting to do something a little different to do this tour!

The tour is a mix of Dublin's dark size, history, goosebumps, spooky moments, laughter and a whole lot of fun. The guides/actors are great and the grey you involved in their stories. My favorite part was when we were able to visit a "secret passage", the guide had a key to a looked gate in the castle and makes you feel like you're not supposed to be there. I loved it!

This was a fun few hours and we heard some great ghost/historical stories. The actors were very entertaining. It is a double decker bus that is all blacked out so you can't see out the windows. You do have to climb the little staircase and there are stops that you get on/off. You also get a drink (shot) at Kavanaughs at the end. (The bus picked us up in front of the H&M store).

We were so excited to go on this bus tour! The bus interior is decorated and everyone sits up top, but there will be no looking out of the window! The super-dark bus interior is the stage and, on this particular evening, the tour guide is "Laura," the plague victim. Equal parts loud and in your face, an amusing storyteller, and plague-infested tour guide, Laura keeps the evening rolling as she shares history and tall tales of a ghostly nature at key stops along the way. I won't tell you much more, and you should probably not read a lot about the tour so you'll have the element of surprise to help keep you engaged. Other actors join in the haunting and tale-telling, which is a nice touch. You get off at The Gravediggers pub at Glasnevin cemetery for a shot, but you should definitely got back another time and have a pint at this historic pub. Still, it was fun watching the confused locals take in our group and the ghouls who were leading us. Not for children. Great for mature teens (alcohol-optional drink available). You have to go up and down bus steps from the first level to the upper level several times--not advised for folks who don't have good mobility or don't enjoy being in the dark or in the midst of smoke from a smoke machine, which comes on occasionally. Really good fun and a unique look at some Dublin highlights!
