The actual karting was good, but every heat was very rushed, to the point where we were being shouted at for no reason. if it took more than 30 seconds to get in kart,when we didn't notice him pointing(behind us) then basically shout and push, stamping on throttle. I know it's hard to communicate through helmet, but they're were bolts on track.... just get out on track!! Where were the bolts from? Condescending, quite rude and a bit bullying. Love karting, but won't be returning!

There were 5 of us and we paid €400. Booked for 1 hour. First 30 minutes was perfect. The second 30 minutes was awful. One of the parties karts was faulty and caused the race to be in yellow flag mode for 3/4 of the race. Ruined everybody’s experience and I would recommend you think twice about coming here. The persons kart that was faulty got a voucher but nobody else got anything and everybody’s race was affected. Will not be returning. Happy for management to contact me about this.

Kylemore Karting is located just off the Red cow roundabout, so it's not exactly miles out of the way. There was a good deal of customer arking outside the centre, however inside the facilities weren't the greatest (the tiolets etc). There was a kit up room where you signed a release and got your equipment, a jumpsuit, a helmet and some gloves, all of which was quite old, but served the purpose none-the-less.
The karts all seemed quite well maintained, and had a certain amount of kick. The tracks were very well maintained and we're the best tracks I've ever been on. There is two tracks, one to accomodate large groups and one to accomodate walk ins.
The front track and the back track are very similar in what they offer: both have large dips and varying corners. Because it is multi-level, the track is made from what i can only assume is wood, and this gives you a good deal of slide, which is great for that fast feel. However, it can be irritating for some people who would prefer to be taking a much smoother line (which Im sure is possible, I just found it difficult).
In terms of length, each lap could be completed in about 40 seconds if I remember correctly, which is actually quite long, although for a small amount of mone (roughly 30euro if i remember correctly) you would get about 25 minutes, which is more than enough time.
For tournaments the prices changed, but I would suggest if your group is small enough just doing the practice sessions. These give you the optimum amount of time on the track and you dont need to worry about neccesarily winning or loosing, however a certain amount of competition remains in terms of overtaking and cornering.

Went to this place and took a minibus to get to there from the City Centre. Best day out ever. I have never been Karting before but alot of my friends have. The great thing about that is that you can gauge by my review of a range of views about this place. The track was amazing. It had some uphill and downhill which made for some great neck on neck fights for the corners.
A little video tutorial at the beginning was enough to brush me up on the basics of Karting and the members of staff were very efficient at getting people onto the tracks. It was even better because we have 16 people to race so 4 lots of 4 worked perfectly. We played a tournament too which helped the game make the most of the morning and early afternoon and it seemed like we drove forever.
At the end they gave certificates to give that competition feel. All in all an amazing day out and as its a bit far from the centre I would advising to prebook a minibus for hire.

Attended this go karting on a stag do in Dublin. Done a handful of go karting places before but Kylemore karting stands out by a long long way. Friendly staff, fast and modern karts, huge karting track. We spent the most of two hours here involving a practice run, 4 heat events, two semi finals and a final. It was the best go karting I've ever been to. Out of the 12 in the stag group all agreed it was the best they'd been to as well. Genuinely gutted when it finished. I actually want to fly back to Dublin to use this place again!

My son was invited to a friends 13th party here and I volunteered to taxi a couple of the lads to and from.
By a strange quirk of faith I ended up having a go as well as thoroughly enjoyed it.
Staff were brilliant throughout the day. Lockers are provided for a quid for your keys phones etc.
The track was great fun, you do find yourself turning into Schumacher very quickly.
All the lads had a brilliant time and I don't think it's the last time we'll be there.

WOW!!!
What a great place!! First off the staff is super friendly and professional... we were an hour late for our booking and they couldn't have been nicer!!! All the team was great and knew what they were doing.
We were 15 in total and opt for the Championship €50 pp and it was 2 hours of non stop thrills and adrenaline rush!!!
Definitely will recommend and come back!!

We paid €25 for 20 minutes and went on a weekday and it was just 2 of us. Good fun but hard to overtake on such a small track.

Took my 14 year old son recently for his first karting experience.
3 courses available so we opted for the 25 min time trial and because the main course 1 was in use for a gp we ended up on the tight and twisty course 2.
Following a safety briefing and getting our jackets helmets and gloves we where off.
Great fun, well run and would go back again.
The son cant wait to get back.
Book ahead and enjoy the experience.

Thank you for your enquiry. Based on your group size, the best option would be the Mini Enduro. The price per driver is €45. A format of the race is available on our websiteas well as booking information. The Enduro will take around an hour to run.
