If you would like to hear good Irish songs and the stories that go with them, I highly recommend taken a visit to see Sean Coffey and Sharon Hussey in the Trinity Bar on Dame Street, in the heart of the city.
The music and stories, plus the interaction from Sean and Sharon is just excellent, making you feel so welcome.
The food is great and the staff in the Trinity bar are very friendly and helpful.
I suggest you get your self a 3 course meal, sit back and join in with the musician’s in singing the songs that they sing.

Enjoy

Irish Song & Stories is an event in Dublin you don’t definitely don’t want to miss. The Irish food was so amazing with several choices to choose from. Everything came to the table piping hot! Sean Coffey is, no doubt, the best performer in Dublin. The way he tells the stories of his heritage and the songs he sings had a few at my table in tears. His voice is absolutely incredible. Sharon Hussey accompanies Sean on her fiddle and they fit together perfectly. Ciara is a beautiful Irish dancer, and just adds the ultimate touch to this incredible show! I’d you’re in Dublin…don’t wait…buy your tickets! You’ll be entertained from start to finish!

Excellent night at Irish Songs and Stories in the Trinity bar. A new concept for me, which I can't wait to go to again. Real celtic classics played on guitar and fiddle and sung with soul. The inclusive story telling and sing alongs elevated the night of the Great Irish songbook. The food, irish dancing and atmosphere all made for such an enjoyable night. 5 stars

If you’re in Dublin City Centre at the start of the weekend, aka Thursday, then a great way to kick start the night is to visit the Trinity Bar on Dame Street for the fantastic Irish Songs & Stories !
At this special show you get fed, listen to stories and hear great music – what more could you want !
The show features 2 Masters at their crafts, Sharon Hussey on Fiddle and Sean Coffey on Guitar, with them both sharing stories and vocals. As they say in Ireland no better Cailin & Buachaill to engage you in the stories !!
The Irish songs are steeped in history, some you know, some that would surprise you, so it’s a great way to enjoy a top of the range 3 course meal in a different way.
Overall, with the great Trinity staff, it’s a super night out and well worth a visit. Enjoy as much as we did .

A casual dining experience centred around traditional music and stories. We had a great laugh here, the performers had a great sense of fun and this ensured everyone enjoyed their night. Worth a visit for sure.

Absolutely fantastic evening. The atmosphere on arrival was superb, tables were well laid. The food was delicious considering the price, the selection was limited but really there was a great taste of many traditional Irish meals.
The songs and stories were brilliant, both musicians put on a fantastic show. I'd absolutely recommend this for anyone looking for a great evening out in Dublin.

I had a fabulous time attending Irish songs and stories. These two are impeccable musicians and do a tremendous job sharing Irish heritage through short stories and songs. If you’re looking for a night of pure Irish entertainment look no further! You will be guaranteed a night of pure joy and laughter. Can’t wait to go back and share the experience with friends, especially those who first introduced me to Sean’s music!!
