Great day out. Had been at Naas the day before which was charming. Paid about €40 for grandstand. Bit cold for sitting out too much but good facilities. Barman even brought Guinness to our table when it was quieter! Good fish and chips and quality burgers, salmon salads etc. Racing gave me a couple of winners for Cheltenham from "yer... More

It's worth the trouble of leaving City Centre to check out the Leopardstown Racecourse, located in the Foxrock neighborhood (Dublin 18), just outside of town. While particularly great when the weather is nice, it's still a fun time no matter what the climate...remember, Ireland's not supposed to be hot and sunny!

Visiting Dublin, we lucked out that the races were on at Leopardstown. Tickets were $30 for Top Level (3rd floor) seats. They are outside but under cover. There is also a dining, lounge, and bar area that you're allowed to use with the top level tickets. Because it was so cold, we spent our time between races in the lounge,... More

It's an Irish racecourse so there is Guinness, horses, friendly people, stodgy food. Perfect! My first visit and I enjoyed it very much. The new statue of Hurricane Fly was on show for the first time right by the entrance - impressive.

1st visit from Scotland and what a welcome!!! An afternoon in the Members Bar and plenty of engaging chat from new meets and friends, plenty of assistance from racecourse staff and wonderful vantage points from which to view a profitable days racing. A great track and experience and one we will be keen to repeat soon

The course is very easy to get to via the Luas (green line) and the venue kindly laid on a complementary shuttle bus from Sandyford Luas station. The facilities on course are plentiful and of good quality, and, most of all, the staff were all extremely helpful. I look forward to my next visit.

Fantastic racecourse, great views on the whole course and top quality racing. For €20 entrance to see two grade one races is fantastic in comparison to U.K prices. The number of bars and ease of getting a drink is superb for a main race day. Look forward to visiting again !

On a recent visit to Dublin we decided to visit leopardstown races. To watch top class racing, being seniors it only cost us 15 euro each! The staff at the course where very welcoming and friendly, the bar staff very efficient unlike many uk racecourses. The course itself was immaculate and viewing areas numerous. The management at uk racecourses should... More
