    Definitely a pub to visit
This pub was on the corner from where we stayed and we visited multiple times. What a great place, the staff were friendly and the service fantastic. We also grabbed some food whilst here and it was delicious! Although the popular attractions seem to be temple bar don’t forget to venture to places like this as they are great, traditional Irish pub and a great atmosphere

Delicious foods, best breakfast in Dublin, great mimosas for breakfast and a perfect pint! Highly recommend
Absolutely fantastic Irish pub. Great music in the evening and fantastic Irish breakfast - best in Dublin in our opinion. We had a great welcome and fantastic service. Really enjoyed. We were staying literally around the corner in the Stay city apartments so could just stumble home after a few in here! Stumbled back for breakfast.

    Nice meal
We called into Slatterys Bar at lunch time for a rest from the walking, a drink and some lunch. We were met at the door by a lovely young lady whom showed us a a nice table, the drinks and the food arrived promptly. The club sandwich was excellent followed by a pint of Guinness.. If you’re passing then call in

    Proper Irish Pub
We had a great saturday night in Slatterys, soaking up the atmosphere, listening to the live music, having an enjoyable meal which was nicely washed down by some Smithwicks & some Guinness. We enjoyed it so much that upon finding out that it was a good "football pub" we returned again on the Sunday to watch the football. Again the atmosphere was great & very friendly, as we got chatting to some locals. We found the staff chatty & friendly & overall a really nice traditional Irish Pub.

Food good, beer good, service slow but busy, but dress code is very f’n poor.
You can wear hoodies, you can wear holes in your pants, But walking in with $130 fitness pants on, and being informed that your dress style is not accepted in this establishment. Seriously, you are freaking way too concerned about attire.
This place failed my first Irish Experience on May 10th,2024.
But, we are now at ‘The Oliver Street Gogarty’ and this place is feeling way more comfortable. People are accepted for who they are here.
Sorry Slattery, you failed to provide a good rememberable experience.
I know it’s not personal, but please put a sign outside stating your bias.
No decent dressed individuals showered. Hostess wear holey pants, but customers can’t wear fitness clothes.

Disgusting bar, horrible rude staff. Turned away for not having suitable ‘clothing’ on! That being cargo bottoms and a hoodie. Sent back outside in heavy rain with my 70 year old grandad! Definitely not recommended. Avoid.

Early house. We turned up free 9 and he said he was going to be 30 minutes but told us we had to move. Just a really rude guy. We just walked to the Windjammer instead-which was great!

The pub has a nice interior, very traditional Irish vibes. We were informed the Manager/Owner (not entirely sure which) hates dogs, so we were not allowed to even sit outside on the street because we had a small dog.

The Bar staff were friendly and apologetic though. Quite strange considering every other bar on the street allows dogs. A local man in another bar we went told us they claim it's because they serve food but he said that's just an excuse they give because they don't serve food outside.

Wandering around Dublin and found this pub. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Traditional type pub, wide selection of drinks and sports on TV. We will return on our next visit.

Good to sit down for a pint or a meal and might be the only place open on Mondays.
However, please do something about the toilets. The stench is just wicked

Went to this pub after shopping. Ordered a pint of GUINNESS. It was brought down to me in 30 seconds when I said that l don't want that the reply was way its only been laying for 2 minutes bye a rude Irish staff member. Don't go to this place rude staff watching you and making you feel very uncomfortable . No Irish hospitality and rude to costumers making gestures behaviour behind costumers backs. Never be back.

An authentic pub but their dress policy is strange to say the least. A well-groomed gentleman was refused because he was wearing a tracksuit top with trousers. Another customer was also refused because he was wearing an expensive and discrete tracksuit. A guy at the bar asked if he could plug-in his charger to charge his phone but was refused.
I had two nice pints of Guinness and left.
