There is nothing international about it – it's very very Irish. If a person is looking for Irish stow with a pint of Guinness for lunch while touring Dublin the place will do the job right.

I was lucky enough to spend New Year's Eve here. We stayed a rather long time and got to know the bartender/owner..very nice guy! The Irish stew was amazing with the bread and butter. So delicious!! The beer was served fast, the crowd was friendly, and I'm so happy we chose this place to ring in NYE. It is rather... More

Had a nice Guiness and the best stew I've had in years for only £6.50. The staff and locals are friendly and chatty.

Staff were very nice, the stew was quiet good, served with bread and butter. I would return. Bathroom very old fashioned but in keeping with rest add loved separate taps :-)

There was a comedy event planned for Monday evening which we regretted not being able to attend. Should I ever move to Dublin this the pub I... More

Called here for a quick beer, ended up staying for a couple of hours. Really good laugh and made to feel welcome. Made friends with other punters quickly and played some good bar "mind" games. Even managed to re charge my phone , drained from too much google mapping !! Would recommend for a friendly pint or two and will... More

Popped in here for a quick feed before our flight home after wandering around the shopping areas. Absolute hidden gem! Proper cosy and Irish locals pub. Great pint and reasonable prices. Everyone was very very friendly and welcoming especially the barman, and the stew was delicious! Homemade, tasty, hearty stew and soda bread with a pint, perfect way to end... More
