A fine example of a Victorian bar

Little snug at the front then a couple of rooms in front of the bar. Also has a lounge on the first floor. Friendly service and well kept beer. If you go in look at the stuff... read more

I would love to know why the barman refused to serve me a Whiskey and Coke, but had no problem with me ordering them separately! I didn't bother asking for a 2nd round.

Old school boozer with plenty of charm. Visited with my missus and parents. Mobbed of an evening with a variety of people. Being from Glasgow we related to the place really well. Cracking Guinness and very sharp staff with great memories! Highly recommended.

First Guinness in Ireland on arrival for 2 days and one night visit, usually go here on nights when it's full to the rafters, so unusual to see it empty but for some regulars barman very witty. Toilets need a bit of TLC but only complaint,

Great pub- staff very friendly, Victorian pub & just like a time capsule. Always busy whatever time you go in....a good sign & the Guinness is very good- what else can you ask for!

Little snug at the front then a couple of rooms in front of the bar. Also has a lounge on the first floor. Friendly service and well kept beer. If you go in look at the stuff behind the bar as you go in. Real old fashioned hand pumps, an old till, mirror and glass light sconces. A little oasis.

As one of the oldest pubs in Dublin You must visit this place. According to history the founder lived upstairs, and you can still see his living room. A lot of pub atmosphere in this place.

Another great old pub we visited on our pub crawl. Of course you have to try the Dublin made Guinness and drink it the proper way...letting it settle and get black.

Kehoes should be on the to do list of any serious drinker visiting Dublin. An authentic bar with a great atmosphere, excellent selection of Irish Whiskies and friendly, knowledgeable staff.

Wipe your feet on the way out , although not in the same league as the "international bar" around the corner the pubs must surely be "related". P.S the less said about the toasted sandwiches and the 7.20 euros a pint the better.

If you are looking for a more traditional kind of Irish pub with a good atmosphere away from temple bar area then this is a good bar to go to! Most people tend to sit outside and spill out into the street and that's where the best of the atmosphere tends to be.
