I took the kids there for an afternoon. It's an activity that takes no more than an hour/hour and a half. Expensive enough to get in. Easy to find. One of the music mixing tables was broken, which was disappointing

Some of the exhibits are downstairs in the basement and there is even a halloween themed area which is sure to give you a fright! There is disabled access throughout which I thought was great.

Four of us visited on a visit to Dublin. The waxworks are interesting but much of the display is in a dark basement. The children's area is very limited and I would not recommend for young children. There is an interesting area about scientists although not in wax. The information boards are in very small writing and quite hard to... More

A good few hours out, interesting learning Irish history but some rooms are small so if a few other visitors turn up as your listening to the information and looking at the wax models it can be cramped and you have to rush out before hearing all the recording. Overall a pleasant afternoons visit in the warm.

The wax works aren't great, and the science part hardly anything works. Slightly over priced for my liking. The receptionist was lovely though. :-)

Booked a visit to the wax museum online for family of 5. 4 year old went free. Value was reasonable. Building is little too small for purpose. Kids enjoyed it but couldn't see us returning.

The wax figures are all very dated, no modern people represented. It was very dark in places, especially the sports part, it was so dark you could not even read who the people were. It was very disappointing and at 14 euros per adult it was not worth the money. We were in and out in 30 minutes.

The museum is self guided. You press a green button in every room and then a voice explains about it. It's a lovely idea and the information was sufficient. However, the voices of different rooms got easily mixed up and you had to wait for it to finish when party before you had started it just before you were going... More
