It was only because my daughter has secured a job nearby and I could see it on Google maps that I was curious to see what the park looked like. From an inconspicuous pedestrian gate on a totally obscured wall off Hatch St Upper I...More

Looked this up beforehand as I'm a fan of waterfalls even though it's not a natural one. Arrived here at 5.30 pm. There was a group of students beforehand so we waited. After they left we wanted to take some pictures. To our surprise the...More

This place is tucked in behind buildings and streets - there's no real obvious entrance from a main road (that I saw). It was worth the effort of finding because once you get inside, it's an oasis of green grass, trees, and peace. I saw...More

The Iveagh Gardens in Dublin, very central, near St Stephen's Green, is a wonderful hidden gem and well worth a visit. It's peaceful and beautiful with working fountains, well kept lawns and plenty, plenty of space. Grab a coffee locally and take it with you...More

We visited the Iveagh Gardens in June for the Taste of Dublin festival. We all felt that it was extremely well organised and the layout of the stalls were great. It sold everything from Pink Lady Apples to craft Beers. Iveagh Gardens is located just...More

Lovely hidden park in the middle of Dublin 2, great for a walk and to have lunch. They also have great events there.

Since it was highly rated on Tripadvisor we decided to walk up there from our hotel. I wish we had done something else. All there was to see was filthy water filled with rubbish.

A beautiful little hidding gem right in the middle of Dublin city. Very peaceful park to walk around, plenty of seating ,rose garden and a maze .

Other than concerts being held here this is a very quiet spot close to the center of Dublin. Perfect for a stroll and easy access from Harcourt Street via Clonmell Street. Tranquil peaceful surroundings on a Sunday morning.

I guess our timing was bad for blooming flowers. With "Gardens" in the title we were expecting more. It was pretty, just not what we were hoping for.
