Situated in the heart of Dublin City centre on O'Connell Street Upper, we are a newly refurbished Venue. We offer a large selection of games, from Roulette and Blackjack to everyone's favourite old school games. You will be spoilt for choice when you enter Dr.Quirkey's GoodTime Emporium. Our other Venue is located in Phibsborough and is also close to the City Centre, so if you want the authentic Dr.Quirkey's experience, we recommend visiting both our Venues. Our Venues are Strictly over 18s

Explanation required.
In relation to my wife and myself being refused entry into Dr Quirkeys emporium on Sunday 7th November, at approx 3pm without been given an explanation, I am mailing you as advised by one of your managers for an explanation as to why we were refused any reason.
We are both 78years old, have been playing at you arcade casino for over 20years,without any problems.
We are both fully vaccinated and covid compliant. And never had any problems in the past.
We are known to some of your longer term staff members including Dave, manager. He acknowledged we are valued elderly customers, with no gambling problems.
We woul appreciate if you give us a reasonable explanation, as to why we were refused entry.

I got threatened by another customer, didn't find it a good or safe environment. I'd hesitate before making a return visit, so much for good time emporium

The staffs are very un-professional, the manager seems very careless. The place.is over crowded and service is very very poor..

Best Casino Ever. No pressure. No entry fee. All electronic games. Very fair. Staff are wonderful. I am a tragic Casino visitor, and no frills no pressure place, had me leaving a winner after every visit. Stay away from the dump next door and the so called real Casinos, they are only designed to suck you dry. Play carefully and you will have fun and walk out with more than you went in with. Swear on my mother’s grave.

Avoid at all cost. This casino must have the lowest payout ratio in Ireland. The staff are not one bit helpful or friendly, the place is full drunks and people hanging around even during the day and for those of you who like to enjoy a game without being hassled by some guy looking for money or cigarettes, forget about it . More likely a group of leeches will gather around you trying to intimidate you and follow you around even if you do move. Dont bother asking the staff to move them as most of them are freinds of the staff and said staff can even be frequently seen sharing games with said gangsters or pointing them in the direction of a game where some poor mug just lost his rent money . There is certainly a very sinister element to doctor quirkeys and on speaking to a few regulars who actual play games it seems to have been on a huge slope for quite some time both value for your buck and managemnt wise. To sum it up basically, the man who owns this place is one of the richest men in Ireland, and there is a reason for that. DO NOT GO TO DOCTOR QUIRKEYS UNLESS YOU WANT TO LEAVE WITHOUT YOUR WALLET AND YOUR FAITH IN HUMANITY. ALSO CHANCES ARE IF YOU DO SPEND A FEW BUCKS HERE YOU ARE CONTRIBUTING TO GANG RELATED CRIME IN IRELAND.BE WARNED.

At first i felt very assured i was safe as staff kept checking on me although i was winning, then a begger came up to me and kept leaning over and saying how well i was doing and asked could he have a lend, then he went up and talked to the staff who didn't seem one bit worried about his actions towards me, next thing is he goes out and comes back with a group of his friends and started pushing and shoving me and completly indimated me to the point of i called it a night unfortunly it didn't just stop there because outside they continued the abuse to the point i threatened to call cops instead 1 guy stole my phone and the other guy stole my wallet while his friend held me from chasing the guy

If you enjoy being surrounded by drug addicts and generally unsavoury individuals, then you will love this place. Otherwise, avoid like the plague. Do not carry any valuables, keep your eyes dead straight in front of you and be prepared to run very fast

Junkie playground, drugs drugs scum and drugs. Violent scumbags threats from randoms .. It's is to be avoided at all costs, dangerous for children has beggars wondering around, security is curropt and involved with the criminals also.

This place is a disgrace the staff r so rude especially the dark man in which we spoke too about things falling in the machine but not coming out he just turned too us blank face and said that's how we earn our money if ya don't like it don't come back ,yep that's right also my daughter won stuff and said how there stuck and he said tuff while there the security guard spent most his time out side with rift raft off the street and seems ta have no interest in what's going on inside,going ta this place will turn our day up side down and feel like u have been kicked in the gutt and as for children its a no go staff r so rude be in for a lot tears I wouldn't bring the dog ta this place the way they treat people ,and they seriously need ta look at there staff in this place if there more interested in smoking with the bullies outside let them stay out there the most disgusting down hearted place unrespectful degrading place u could ever visit in Dublin and wish I'd seen all yee comments before I brang my 3 daughters and sisters STAY AWAY AT ALL COST ESPECIALLY WITH CHILDREN 17/8/2013
