We have been to St Michans 2 times now in 2 years it is fascinating to see the mummies and the crypts. The guide is fun. We had him both times we were there. And we highly recommend it to anyone. Such a great place...More

We done this twice now and each time we learned something new. The guide is funny and informative and the mummies are pretty cool too

A friend had mentioned this church otherwise we'd never have known about it and it is a little out of the city centre. The price of €6 pp may seem a bit steep for a small church, interesting as it is a building but let's...More

How often do you get to see mummies in real life? Ones that aren’t wrapped in layers and layers of cloth strips, who are just hanging out under a nondescript Anglican Church in the same area of Dublin that houses the Jameson Distillery on Bow...More

The guide showed us the underground burial chamberes where there are perfectly preserved mummies of Vikings and early Dublin families. Great story teller but you really get a feeling of just how old the place is.

Mummified nuns, crusaders with Brocken legs, some guy with his feet and hand chopped off and even a room full of dead Irish revolutionaries - guarded by two Irish princesses in the gift shop - and all for 6euro. This is a “‘tourism unplugged” one...More

I never heard about this place in any guide book. We went to the Leprechaun museum and the girl there told us to visit this church to see the mummies in the crypts. It was pouring rain and we went. We were soaking wet but...More

I'd say GO! The church smelled old and musty and if you knelt on a cushion, dust puffed a tad around your knees. The guide was just spectacular - acting the part of the cemetry attendant. There are two crypts and they are not large...More

Such a beautiful church almost hidden away in the middle of Dublin - would definitely recommend a visit here. Also met such a gentleman Priest who made us feel so welcome, absolutely fabulous!

We went here as one of our party loves a good catacomb! We arrived and were issued a nice keepsake in the shape of a laminated and folded info leaflet, which was nice. The church is quite unassuming and settled in with other more outwardly...More

I’m not sure - just phone them. They are really nice people. It’s not a tourist show - it’s just a local church. Seriously not a main stream attraction.

It was 3 or 4 Euros this year. Call ahead to make sure they'll have a tour guide available when you wish to go or you won't get to see the crypt.

Yep we just turned up, had a look around the church while we waited for the next tour and we were good.
