I'm so glad we stopped here - the collection is fascinating. There's a wonderful cafe with excellent food, a beautiful green outside, a rooftop terrace -- and entrance is free (donation suggested). This collection is a must see - the history here is just amazing.

This library houses many books and hosts exhibitions that foster learning about other cultures. The day we visited, we learned about Islam and the arts.

A great collection, not to be missed. The exhibition changes so it's even a great place to revisit. You can spend a long time there or simply browse through. Would even recommend if admission wasn't free.

Hidden away in there is an asian-Indian inspired restaurant with excellent, healthy food. Staff seemed a little overwhelmed, but certainly friendly and kind.

This is a hidden gem! I almost couldn't believe it was only 1% of his full collection. So many amazing documents to see.

Fascinating collection of ancient texts and books from all over the world. Also a very nice cafe to eat at, which has outdoor access and views of the Dublin Castle green and Dublin City Gallery / Hugh Lane Gallery.

Unfortunately there is not external visitor parking at Dublin Castle. There are a good number of sites to park in central Dublin within walking distance of the museum.
