You can spend as much time as you want with the wonderful manuscripts in this library. (NO photos.) Better place to see the riches of the past than at the Book Of Kells. Place also has a wonderful caffe, The Silk Road.

There is an amazing collection of old and important books here. Chester must have been a fascinating man - such a gift to collect, curate and gift these treasures

The highlight of my Dublin stay as it contains so many beautiful ancient books from China, India, Persia and elsewhere. I couldn't believe that this is a free attraction. Everything is beautifully displayed and explained.

This collection is simply amazing for both the range of documents and the exceptional quality of the ancient books, scrolls, manuscripts and other artifacts on display. Frankly, the Trinity Library display (with only 3 books) is pale by comparison with the dozens of beautiful books...More

The collection has on display works that are Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, Taoist, Confucian, Zen, and I'm probably forgetting something. The...More

Unfortunately there is not external visitor parking at Dublin Castle. There are a good number of sites to park in central Dublin within walking distance of the museum.
