Took the Wild Rover tour to Belfast and the Giant’s Causeway. The tour was worth every penny - it was prompt, gave us plenty of time at each location and the guide was excellent, informed and set the perfect tone. If I had one suggestion it would he to have some refreshments available on the bus - bottles of water would be perfect. I highly recommend this tour.

A fun but kind of long day tour of western Ireland. Our guide Noel was extremely knowledgeable of Irish history as well as having endless knowledge of the best restaurants, pubs and attractions that were worth your money and time. And a pretty funny guy to boot. Our driver Damo did an amazing job safely driving the narrow and winding roads of western Ireland. The cliffs are stunning and our pics don’t do it justice. A quick stop at The Burrens and then on to Galway which was beautiful. I highly recommend this tour if you want beautiful views and landscapes.

Amazing. 5 star! The host Anthon was in character the whole trip and gave amazing re-enactments and background. My husband and I have never watched GOT, we went for the scenery of Northern Ireland. It did not disappoint. Highly recommend this tour to anyone in Ireland. It was a highlight of our trip.

My husband and I booked two Wild Rover Tours early November for our visit to Dublin for our New Year holiday. One tour was booked for Sunday December 29th for the Giant Causeway and the other one for December 30th for the Cliffs of Moher. On Sunday morning, we woke up early to go at our meeting place. While waiting for the bus at the designated place, I started not feeling my best and threw up. I knew something was wrong and although we were there when the bus arrived, my husband and I decided not to board the bus due to this. I am glad I didn't because for the next 48 hours, I has a stomach bug and spent the next 2 days in our hotel room. I called Wild Rover Tours and tried to reschedule one of the tours and although they were not very open about it, they did reschedule the Giants Causeway for the next day but we still couldn't go as I was still not feeling well.

I did call Wild Rover Tours and told them the reason we missed our tours but the person I talked to was very arrogant. He didn't let me talk and he just told me that there is nothing he can do. Yes, when you book they do have a 24 hour cancellation but it also states that refunds are at their discretion. I chose not to board the bus and ruin everybody else's tour that day. How was I supposed to know that I was going to get sick on that day? I lost $300. We were just disappointing and it was very inconsiderate of them.

We booked a private tour as we wanted to make stops that weren't part of any of the regular tours. John was able to create an itinerary that included everything we requested plus a couple of additional stops. Danny was an excellent driver and guide, he was very entertaining and informative.

I had used other tour companies on previous trips to Ireland and had attempted to use one of them for this trip, but none could provide a custom tour that we wanted.

I loved going to Glendalough and seeing the sights with my friends! We are students here and it was a fairly inexpensive way to explore areas around Ireland and we got some amazing photos. Our tour guide Anthony was really friendly and informative and Sydney was a very nice and friendly driver. Would recommend this tour if you are looking for a cheap and informative way to explore the Irish countryside!

Great tour of Kilkenny, Wicklow and Glendalough! Tour guide was very informative and driver made good timing so we had an extra hour in Kilkenny. Tour leaves early from Dublin and then stops in Kilkenny, the medieval capital of Ireland. Our guide gave us a short 45 minute walking tour of the town then you have about another 1 to 1.5 hours to explore on your own. They have merchant houses you can tour, a castle you can explore or you can just grab a cup of tea and bite and afterwards, walk down the cheerful and flowering streets taking it all in. Next we headed to the Wicklow mountains. We explored the ancient monastic settlement at Glendalough ,hiked to the upper lake for breathtaking views of the valley and ended the day at the village of Annamoe, watching a sheepdog demonstration in the foothills of the Wicklow mountains. Great tour that gets you out of the city and into those beautiful rolling green hills.

We decided to do the Belfast and Giants Causeway trip, and we are so glad we did. It was an early start and long day but well worth it to see more than just Dublin. The driver Gerry was smooth and safe, and really friendly. Our tour guide Murphy was knowledgeable and funny, and we loved the targeted jokes at peoples countries!! The stops on the tour were amazing, and we chose to do the black cab tour which was definitely the right choice. We were taken around some neighbourhoods that are affected by the troubles and it was really interesting to hear an Irish perspective! Again, Murphy and Gerry were fantastic and it was always clear where we should be and when.

My only criticism would be the opportunities for food. We stopped at a few places and were told some places were better than others but we found them to be quite expensive. We went to Jam cafe as directed in Belfast, but I was overcharged (7 euro for a chicken sandwich) compared to what price was on the menu and the owner of the cafe wouldn’t even discuss the issue with me, wished I’d have gone to the subway a couple of doors down! However, this doesn’t reflect badly on the tour and Murphy, it was an incredible day out and one I’ll never forget. Worth every penny.

Had a great day out with Richard (Guide) and Paulo (Driver) went to the Wicklow Mountains, a sheep farm and Kilkenny. Richard was polite, knowledgeable, approachable and friendly. His knowledge of the area was encyclopaedic and his delivery meant that we did not feel uncomfortable in asking questions . Dublin is a fantastic city with friendly welcoming people, but if you get a chance I wholeheartedly recommend this tour which enables you to get out of the city and experience the outer beauty of Ireland. I even had a go on his Irish hand drum!!

We took a day trip with Dave and Sean from Dublin to the Cliffs of Moher and the city of Galway. Dave was very funny the whole day, but also had a ton of great information and history for us to learn along the way. We truly enjoyed this day trip with them and would highly recommend to those who are looking for fun day trips!
