4 of us had the great pleasure of touring 2 full days with Kieran - on the WIcklow tour and Boyne Valley tour. His knowledge is excellent and pleasantly presented. We learned a lot. Plus, he is a careful and safe driver. Going above and beyond, he actually re-scheduled from a Wednesday to that Friday because the weather was awful, which he certainly did not have to do, but made a tremendous difference to us. Could not be better! Thanks!

"I was on the Do Dublin Tour bus on 5th August 2022 and I have to say that the driver/ narrator was brilliant. She ( Mary, I believe is her name) was very informative and even delivered 3 or 4 songs perfectly and had everyone joining in. So, a Big thanks to her for a great day!"

Kieran's tour was a perfect ending to our two week Northern Europe whirlwind tour. He is funny and engaging, while giving a good feel for history and culture of the area, both medieval and modern. We really enjoyed visiting Powerscourt Gardens. He had a great recommendation for lunch and was able to drive us closer to The Library at Trinity College so that my dad didn't have to walk as far. All in all a wonderful trip.

Unbelievably awesome!!! Kieran and Jimmy were the best guides. Very patient, incredibly knowledgeable, and really fun to be with. They know places where the big tour busses can’t go and there were times when we the only tourists at a particular spot. It was incredible. We visited Kilkenny, Blarney, Cliffs of Mohr, Giant’s Causeway, Belfast, Boine Valley, Rock of Cashel, Slane, and Newgrange. The depth of their knowledge of Ireland is beyond compare. We will be booking with them again.

The day we spent touring with Kieran stands out as my favorite in our 21 days touring Ireland. We traveled with Kieran in his car to Newgrange, Monasterboice and Trim Castle. The significance of each site was explained in much detail with very thorough history and an endearing sense of humor! I would highly recommend this company and would certainly book more tours with Tour Dublin when I return to Ireland. I also really preferred the small group in his car to our larger tours later on.

We only had a few days, and he really gave us the whole package. The first half day, was with Brian and the second day was with Robert, they both exceeded our recommendations and will absolutely be using them again when we come back for a longer trip.

Booked a private tour of Dublin for my husbands birthday. We had a wonderful day touring the main sites of Dublin and its surrounding areas. A highlight was the trip down to Howth for lunch, I hope to return there again one day. The guides knowledge was unbelievable and I think I learnt more in that 8 hours than I have in total on my 6 pervious trips to Dublin. Thank you so much for arranging such a memorable day. We look forward to hopefully seeing you again in the future.

We recently visited Ireland and logged many memorable and fun experiences. But the highlight was truly the time we spent with Kieran! With Kieran, we traveled from Dublin to Killarney - enjoyed a couple of side trips to castles, shops and pubs and then took a full day for an exquisite trip around the Ring of Kerry, stopping at a variety of shops, eateries and the most amazing relics. He also stopped at waysides to view the Skellig Islands and the gorgeous Irish countryside - dotted with sheep and cattle. On our return trip to Dublin, we took in a tour of the current Jameson Distillery, Waterford and of course another pub/eatery! Kieran took the stress of driving and planning an itinerary with his expert navigating and recommendations. Without hesitation, we highly recommend Kieran and his team!

Jimmy, our Dublin host, met us promptly at our hotel Clontarf Castle @ 9:00 am. He was really superb, showing us the countryside, St. Kevin's Monastery, county Wicklow, Powerscourt gardens, Wicklow Gaol jail, Avoca hand weavers, and lunch at the fictional Bally kiss angel town (really the town of Avoca). We highly recommend using Jimmy, a Dublin native, who allowed our day to unfold at our pace and was so engaging with the kids ( age 11 and 15). He was informative and we loved his expertise of Ireland from it's history, geography, landmarks, and politics. Tour Dublin is a must do when visiting this great country!

We've just returned from a whirlwind visit to Ireland and had the good fortune to engage Kieran for 2 days touring Dublin, Cashel and Kilkenny. Kieran was kind, patient, knowledgeable and entertaining - I missed him on our last day when wee were on our own! Would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone planning a visit to Ireland.

Interested 4 5 hours dubline tour with private car
Thanks

We definitely recommend Tour Dublin - Kieran runs it. 4-5 hours you might go to the villages just west of Dublin or to the southeast coach. I would follow his recommendation. We had 6 people and they used a very comfortable Mercedes van. Our driver was Gerry, and he was very knowledgeable.

We did a full day tour, but I know that Tour Dublin does half day or 4 hour tours as well. I would suggest you e-mail them directly and tell them of your group and tour request. We found them to be very accommodating and they always responded timely.
I'm sure they will be able to provide a wonderful day for you! I highly recommend them!

hello, my flight arrives in dublin April 9 ace 1 p.m, it hotel in dublin but wanted to Wicklow and Glendalough tour, the beginning would be needed later than the custome, for example at 3 p.m, it is possible? what are my alternatives?
I await answer, thanks
Written 31 March 2016
Hello,
Thank you for your enquiry. We would be happy to provide you with a tour of Wicklow on April 9th. Due to the later than usual starting time you would not be able to complete our regular Wicklow Tour itinerary but we could amend it for you. You could follow an itinerary something like the following
You would leave the city via a scenic drive along Dublin Bay before heading inland into the countryside to visit Powerscourt Gardens. From there you would drive up into the mountains for a photo stop in the mountains at the Sally Gap. Then onto the monastic ruins set in the heart of the beautiful valley of Glendalough. You could then return to Dublin or if you wished you could finish the evening with a visit Johnnie Fox's which is a famous pub situated up in the mountains.
We cannot provide prices or links or an email address using this method of reply but you can contact us directly at the email link on the right hand side of our Trip Advisor page or by clicking on the link to our website which is beside the email link. We would be happy to provide you with this information and to answer any further questions you might have.

Hi,
We are looking for a private tour guide for Christmas day. We realize this is an important Holiday to celebrate with family & friends, but just wondering if there is anyone available for a private halfday tour with my family of 4 on this date. We are staying in Dublin for 5 days and just thought it would be nice to get out of the city & take a nice drive with my family for a few hours.
Nancy C.

Hello Nancy,
Thank you for contacting us through TripAdvisor. Unfortunately we do not operate on Christmas Day as everything is closed including bars, restaurants and historical sites. However if you wished to take a tour out to see some of the beautiful countryside around Dublin I will see if we can find someone who would be willing to take you. I fear it is unlikely but we will do our best. Just contact us at the email link above rather than through this Q&A facility if that is something you would like us to do. Thank you.

I am a tour director from the U.S and will be bringing seven or possibly ten people to Dublin on June 11, 2015 and am reading outstanding reviews about a guide named Kiern who sounds exactly like the person I would like to guide us for a one day tour on June 12th. Please send me prices for a one day tour using this gentleman and a little more info. about how to reach you and possibly reserve Kiern for that day.
Thank You,
David Morin
