4 of us had the great pleasure of touring 2 full days with Kieran - on the WIcklow tour and Boyne Valley tour. His knowledge is excellent and pleasantly presented. We learned a lot. Plus, he is a careful and safe driver. Going above and beyond, he actually re-scheduled from a Wednesday to that Friday because the weather was awful, which he certainly did not have to do, but made a tremendous difference to us. Could not be better! Thanks!

Kieran's tour was a perfect ending to our two week Northern Europe whirlwind tour. He is funny and engaging, while giving a good feel for history and culture of the area, both medieval and modern. We really enjoyed visiting Powerscourt Gardens. He had a great recommendation for lunch and was able to drive us closer to The Library at Trinity College so that my dad didn't have to walk as far. All in all a wonderful trip.

My family toured with Kieran for six days total, on 3 May and then 5-9 May inclusive.
Touring with him is a bargain masquerading as an indulgence. For just a little more than we would've paid for uncomfortable seats on big bus tours with impersonal canned narration and can't-enjoy-anything timetables, we had an infinitely patient and utterly professional driver-guide dedicated to just us and our interests and needs.
From ancient monuments older than Stonehenge to 20th century cinema and the little restaurants that gave us a true taste of Ireland, Kieran's knowledge (and willingness to learn just to be ready for us!) truly shone through, and he made our trip incredible.
Thank you!

"I was on the Do Dublin Tour bus on 5th August 2022 and I have to say that the driver/ narrator was brilliant. She ( Mary, I believe is her name) was very informative and even delivered 3 or 4 songs perfectly and had everyone joining in. So, a Big thanks to her for a great day!"

The day we spent touring with Kieran stands out as my favorite in our 21 days touring Ireland. We traveled with Kieran in his car to Newgrange, Monasterboice and Trim Castle. The significance of each site was explained in much detail with very thorough history and an endearing sense of humor! I would highly recommend this company and would certainly book more tours with Tour Dublin when I return to Ireland. I also really preferred the small group in his car to our larger tours later on.

Unbelievably awesome!!! Kieran and Jimmy were the best guides. Very patient, incredibly knowledgeable, and really fun to be with. They know places where the big tour busses can’t go and there were times when we the only tourists at a particular spot. It was incredible. We visited Kilkenny, Blarney, Cliffs of Mohr, Giant’s Causeway, Belfast, Boine Valley, Rock of Cashel, Slane, and Newgrange. The depth of their knowledge of Ireland is beyond compare. We will be booking with them again.

My husband and I reserved a four hour car tour of Dublin, in early July and enjoyed and learned from every minute. Our driver was well informed, courteous and most helpful. He asked about our interests and offered suggestions. We had reserved time for the Book of Kells. My husband has some mobility issues and our driver sought out the best and closest entrances, he seemed to know everything and everyone.
We look forward to visiting Ireland again and with Tour Dublin for sure!

Our trip to Ireland started off on a wrong foot with a true bate & switch with our accommodations. Our first day with Brian the next morning turned around our whole momentum, beginning with trying to find us another accommodation. then onward from Dublin to the Cliff of Moher and several stop along the way (13 plus hour day). I do believe Brian in his past life must have been a successful stand up comic because we laughed and learned about his Ireland with gusto(so incredibly knowledgeable). We had a second all day adventure with Brian going to Corke and surrounding areas, once again having a great time. Thank you Brian for showing us first hand the warmth, kindness, and true beauty of your Ireland! Until we meet again my friend, God's blessings on you and your family!

My mom and I only had two full days in Dublin, so we wanted to make the most of our stay and see as much as we could of the city and the surrounding countryside.
After searching through many reviews and researching all the available day trip options and tour operators, I was happy to have found TourDublin who provided the tour most suitable for our wishes and requirements.
Having booked the private tour, we had a huge comfortable minibus all to ourselves. We were picked up at our hotel at 9:00 by Kieran and spent an incredibly informative, fun, interesting and well thought-out day. The nature and history awaiting just outside of Dublin is breathtaking, and Kieran was the best possible companion for the day - full of knowledge, fun, fun facts, and a true love for his country and its rich history. It was a perfect day we will remember for a long time, and if I ever (definitely!) go back to Ireland, I will again rely on him and his team for sure!

Our tour guide was Kieran. from 0800 to 1700 it was a blast. We had a customized tour that took us to Newgrange and then inland to Meath and Westmeath to see some genealogical sites of interest that my Father had identified a long time ago prior to his death. Kieran was as excited as we were because he had not been to a lot of this countryside. We found several ruins, had lunch in a small town, and had awesome conversations during the drive about Ireland, Irish history, and what else we could do during the rest of our stay in this great country. Kieran is a great historical interpreter, commentator and overall a 5-star professional. We wish we could just do it again.

We definitely recommend Tour Dublin - Kieran runs it. 4-5 hours you might go to the villages just west of Dublin or to the southeast coach. I would follow his recommendation. We had 6 people and they used a very comfortable Mercedes van. Our driver was Gerry, and he was very knowledgeable.

We did a full day tour, but I know that Tour Dublin does half day or 4 hour tours as well. I would suggest you e-mail them directly and tell them of your group and tour request. We found them to be very accommodating and they always responded timely.
I'm sure they will be able to provide a wonderful day for you! I highly recommend them!

Hello,
Thank you for your enquiry. We would be happy to provide you with a tour of Wicklow on April 9th. Due to the later than usual starting time you would not be able to complete our regular Wicklow Tour itinerary but we could amend it for you. You could follow an itinerary something like the following
You would leave the city via a scenic drive along Dublin Bay before heading inland into the countryside to visit Powerscourt Gardens. From there you would drive up into the mountains for a photo stop in the mountains at the Sally Gap. Then onto the monastic ruins set in the heart of the beautiful valley of Glendalough. You could then return to Dublin or if you wished you could finish the evening with a visit Johnnie Fox's which is a famous pub situated up in the mountains.

Hi,
We are looking for a private tour guide for Christmas day. We realize this is an important Holiday to celebrate with family & friends, but just wondering if there is anyone available for a private halfday tour with my family of 4 on this date. We are staying in Dublin for 5 days and just thought it would be nice to get out of the city & take a nice drive with my family for a few hours.

Hello Nancy,
Thank you for contacting us through TripAdvisor. Unfortunately we do not operate on Christmas Day as everything is closed including bars, restaurants and historical sites. However if you wished to take a tour out to see some of the beautiful countryside around Dublin I will see if we can find someone who would be willing to take you. I fear it is unlikely but we will do our best. Just contact us at the email link above rather than through this Q&A facility if that is something you would like us to do. Thank you.

I am a tour director from the U.S and will be bringing seven or possibly ten people to Dublin on June 11, 2015 and am reading outstanding reviews about a guide named Kiern who sounds exactly like the person I would like to guide us for a one day tour on June 12th. Please send me prices for a one day tour using this gentleman and a little more info. about how to reach you and possibly reserve Kiern for that day.
Thank You,
David Morin
