Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I visited dublin in may and had a great time. I leant a lot from the dodublin tours. I found them cheap and reasonably price with friendly bus drivers who showed me the way in dublin and had craic with me .I learnt alot about dublin like the famous O'Connell street to somuch more like what food restaurants are suitable. I found the tour very educating and wish i spent another day on the bus it made me feel apart of dublin and put me in the right direction in what to do. The website is well tun and easy to navigate they are a great service and should be proud as they have me as a happy customer

I recommended this tour to someone visiting me, as she wanted to do a haunted house or something similar, and I'd heard great things about this tour. Was not disappointed. From the tour side of things, it was informative and interesting, running through Ireland's rich literary past, emphasis on the gory bits.

The tour also includes two off-bus walking sections around graveyards and haunted sites. Some of the areas accessed are closed to the general public, so it was a privilege to be able to engage with the locked areas of Dublin's past.

The tour had its genuinely scary moments, and standing in the dark graveyard being told about the sightings that people in tours past had seen had the hairs on the back of my neck raised high.

Vincent was an incredible story teller, tailoring his tours to the tourists he had with him. He was hilarious and terrifying all in one, and knew how to engage best with his audience. His genuine love for what he does was evident, and it was a pleasure to hear the story of Dublin's spooky side from him.

Absolutely brilliant drivers all very knowledgeable about Dublin & the history, they make it so much fun with great sense of humour. Ask them for any recommendations or tips for your stay we got some great places to visit from them.
Whilst visiting Dublin we used the bus with 2 different drivers and both were really friendly and made the journey fun, on one of the trips we were coming back later in the day where we hit traffic and due to it being January it was dark so not much sight seeing but our driver made it so much fun he kept us well entertained until the end.
The best thing about this tour company is your giving back to Dublin City as this company is run by the bus service and all the drivers work on both the tourist buses & the hop on hop offs.
Thanks again for making our trip memorable.

Not really as 4D or buss interactive as expected. Really very funny. The actors really interact with the people on the buss in a very funny way. I laughed so hard at the one actor, he was just awesome!

You don’t get a pint of genies as much as a shot of something so don’t go expecting a free drink :)

Based on reviews I thought that I would book the Do Dublin bus tour, I thought a hop on hop off tour would suit me best, and be the best way to see the city. I took a bus a few stops from Kilmainham jail today the starting point on O’Connell Street (the last few stops of the tour). The tour seemed okay, it said it was a live tour on the front but it was more of pre-recorded commentary I felt a bit ripped off by it. As I had a tour booked at Glasnevin Cemetery for 2:30 and the bus didn’t go that way, I decided I would do the entire Do Dublin bus tour when I had finished around 4:30pm. I got on one of the last buses from O’Connell street which left a little later, as they were filming for social media for Valentine’s Day with the driver upstairs. The same 4 songs play on a continuous loop throughout the journey while there is no pre-recorded information being played! Often, when there is recorded information being played on the sites we’d either already gone passed them, or hadn’t reached that point yet! Or you couldn’t see the site at all! Sometimes information would be played and it would cut out halfway through playing the next piece of information, or back to that repetitive music. Would not do this again or recommend to anyone, unless you are only on there for a short period of time, and you’re not to worried about listening to the history of the sites. I’d much rather use public transport in the future and take a bus tour with a tour guide who can do live commentary. Would of complained in person at the office, but it closed at 5pm.

Dear Customer We're sorry to receive your review. It sounds as though you were on two multi-lingual buses. These buses are primarily aimed at our foreign language speaking customers and provide a recorded commentary in 9 languages. (the music playlist we are currently using includes 12 different songs not 4, but we do rotate the background music also) We recommend that English speakers take the Live tour, which includes a continuous live commentary from one of our guides. Our tour guides are second to none, and it is for this reason we have much more 5 star reviews than any other hop on hop off tour in Europe. Every second bus is live so it is unfortunate that you happened upon two multi-lingual buses. Our city centre office close at 5.30pm Monday to Friday and 2pm on Saturday and Sunday. We hope you enjoyed your trip to Dublin otherwise and please contact us directly should you return and we will try to make amends. Regards

We took this tour to see Dublin and we asked the drivers were so helpful letting us know the best time’s to get tours and how to plan the visits. We really appreciated the little extras they did by giving us extra helpful information. The recorded part of the tour is also very good and insightful. A great way to see the city. A big bonus is that half of the top part of the bus is glassed in so it’s warmer and dry!

A good hop on, hop off tour. Authorities have stopped the route running in 2 directions so it is a bit long, but the drivers advise shortcuts to get back to certain spots.
The bus tickets also include discounts to various activities / places which make them really useful!

Our driver Tyrone was excellent, telling us interesting facts and figures of Dublin, as well as pointing out all of the interesting attractions. He would also sing the occasional song and ask us to join in. The tour was excellent from start to finish, I found it better value to buy a 2 day ticket than just a 1 day ticket. I went on the tour again the next day and visited some of the attractions. Well worth the money. All the drivers were very friendly.

We had a 48 hour ticket for the Get on Get off bus tour during our trip to Dublin. Takes you round the main attractions with running commentary, prerecorded on some buses but live on others. We had a driver and commentator called Tyrone for one of our trips, very entertaining and had a singalong for part of the journey.

Booked this to use up a few hours before flying home and really just as a tourist but to see the sights around Dublin but was a bit disappointed. The full route doesn't take long to get round and a lot seemed to be residential. The interesting sights tended to be places where there wasn't much time to stop so it was difficult to take many photos. I understand that traffic needs to keep moving but for people that use hop-on, hop-off buses in London or New York for example need to know you don't see the city in the same way.

Probably using it to travel round the city and get on and off at various sites it would have a bit more value although I think you would see more walking between sites so I guess it depends on your mobility.
