The tour is well worth the time and cost. You need to pre buy your tickets. The historical significance and sacrifices made there is something to experience. If in Dublin I would certainly put this as a must see.

This place is steeped in history and the way that it is presented to visitors in an interesting but thoughtful way is excellent. Easily one of the top destinations for any culture vultures visiting Dublin. Not to be missed!

When I booked online it said there were no more spots available for weeks. To ensure you get to see it I would recommend pre-booking.
