Thoroughly loved visiting here, free and lots to look at, great for those who love and are interested in animals. Only negative is that you can't go upstairs to see more!! definitely worth a visit.

The sign is small and blends in really well, I should know I walked passed it twice. I love that they call it the "Dead Zoo" its stuffed for floor to ceiling (literally). Just 2 stories tall there is so much to see. Plan to...More

This museum has a very nice atmosphere and location. It is a free museum also. You should visit this museum!

The Natural Museum of Ireland is very underwhelming. The museum is outdated, displays stuffed animals from Ireland and other parts of the world. There was minimal information displayed with the animals. Could definitely be updated and improved!

Loved this museum. Though it is nowhere near as nice as the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History in DC, it does have some peculiar fossils and artefacts. There are a number of animals from around the world that have been preserved ad stuffed. Also saw...More

Actually stumbled into this place trying to find the national Museum of Ireland. The ground floor is full of species that have been found in Ireland and I was blown away at the number of species particularly the variety of sea life. The upper floors...More

My family loves the ‘dead zoo’-it is a great educational way to spend an afternoon in Dublin. The number and quality of the exhibits is wonderful. It’s just a pity that the two upper levels are not open to the public-I would love to see...More

Spent about 40 minutes milling about this free “dead zoo”. Worth the walk round. Plenty of fun photo opportunities.

This place is full of taxidermy pretty much! They have all kinds of species of animals! There are two different levels! The first floor is smaller animals and the second floor was larger animals! It does not take long to go through the building though!...More

It's a fairly atypical Natural History museum - there's lots of taxidermied animals, but no exhibitions or information plaques as such. I would say about an hour and certainly no more than two.
