We were on a tour, so we only drove through this massive park and stopped at the papal cross for a photo op. It would be a great place for walking, running, biking, picnicking, etc. for the day for sure. There is also a zoo....More

This is a huge park where you can walk or ride a bike. If you have an afternoon to yourself it would be a great place to enjoy Dublin.

We could only pick a couple of highlights to visit as the park is so vast - we saw the Wellington Monument, the Papal Cross and the President's residence. Very worth a wander through, particularly on a nice day. One thing I found frustrating, though,...More

This park is HUGE. We spent half a day walking here and realized that there is a zoo so we went again the next day for the zoo

Beautiful park with lots of paths leading off in every direction to explore. The park is huge so devote some time to while away here. Ideally bring a picnic and sit amongst nature.

The park itself is free. I believe the zoo charges. Make sure you have deer food with you, they are used to get food from people and you are allowed to feed them. Hope that helps, have a great trip.
