Never seen such a big park, would have loved to visit the zoo but ran out of time, maybe next time. It is well worth a visit

One of the most beautiful places I've ever been to. It's so beautiful and green. It's also very romantic. You can get to see a lot of people. Great place to practice sports, read a book or even spend the day.

On the big bus tour was a spot to get down for the Phoenix Park which has huge green lawns and a big stone tower as a landmark. It was getting dark so we did not step down to enter the park but from the bus we saw families enjoying the place, having food and kids playing. A good to... More

Brilliant place to go for a walk or cycle or picnic. The park is huge and is just a 10 minute tram journey from the city centre. There are tea rooms at each end of the main road (Ashtown Castle and the park near Conyngham, Road and you can see the residence of the President of Ireland.

Wonderful place to forget about the city buzz, sit and relax! Go walking until the very end of the park and you will find the deers. I usually find them in the left side of the park (side of the pope's cross) in the very end.

The park is lovely to walk around and there is a monument in the middle and the zoo at the end. Nice place to sit on a sunny day. Was too cold in March to sit but huge

I only got to see phoenix park from the bus- the day was cold , windy but dry and the park looked lovely and it was still busy with runners, dog walkers and cyclists . It is clearly a great resource for Dubliners and it is where the Pope held a meeting with the locals the park has a herd... More

A massive park to relax in. Walk, dog walk, see the deer herds, visit the site of the Pope's visit (and marvel at what a field of 1 million plus looks like), or have a shuftie at the Wellington memorial, Lutyens gardens or just have a cup of tea at the nice cafe. During the summer it can get busy... More
