A lot of locals told us about this spot. Somehow this place pours the creamiest Guinness in the entire city. Didn't eat here but drank our beer and enjoyed the corner table in the pub. It has a great outdoor space that is great for...More

Visited here in the evening. Music started at 9.15pm. We arrive at 7.15pm and it was quite busy. Managed to get a seat in the bar where music is played after an hour or so. By 8.45pm it was really busy. Had some food which...More

I almost don't want to tell you about this place. We found it over 20 years ago and it's bigger and certainly more crowded, but it's still fantastic. Traditional musicians playing in a corner & locals who are friendly and happy to share a table...More

Do not be deceived by appearances from the outside. O'Donoghue's looks a wee bit pokey but the best is revealed once inside and your eyes adjust to the dim lighting to find a genuine real pub full of atmosphere and character. The music was at...More

OD’s is still itself. Rest assured it still pours a good pint, feels like a Yeats-Ian fantasy land, and doesn’t artificially seed the trad music that breaks out from time to time. Definitely this is still a place that needs to be on your crawl....More

We came here as it was said to have the best pint of Guinness in town, I don't know if that is true, but it was a nice pint. Busy on a Friday night, but service was quick. Staff really friendly. Heaters in the central...More

Of course traditional Irish music was on my list for Dublin, but it took us a minute to find it. My mum and I looked at a few different lists online, and were disappointed to find that most "live music" in the center of the...More
