Very few places showing arthouse films in Dublin so very thankful for the IFI in Temple Bar. There is an alternative air to the whole experience (see photo) – a place for true cinephiles. We were in cinema 1, which was a good size, with...More

Independent films, well stocked bar, decent restaurant and the best collection of films in the shop. It was good to step into another world away from the bustle and craziness of the streets outside.

Went to a film this afternoon at IFI which is always enjoyable. We usually eat in one of the Italian restaurants nearby but today we thought we would try the IFI Cafe Bar instead. We both ordered burgers. At €12.25 they should be reasonably edible....More

The restaurant in this fine art house cinema in Dublin city centre (Temple Bar in particular) is nutritious, varied (for meat eaters and vegetarians alike) and represents good value. The only drawback is the slow service; slow to be seated and slow to take an...More
