Beautiful building. Even though I am not well versed on Irish authors it was still interesting to read up on them because many of the authors pop back up all over Ireland, no matter where you venture to so it was good to learn a...More

My 15yo chose this as a "must see" and was very happy. The free audio guide definitely added to the written info with the displays.

I think this museum would be better closed and reorganized. The building need a reconditionation and the different writer's stuff and audio guide explanations sometimes are absolutely boring. I've visited other countries writer's museums and their are much better them this one. Moreover, I can't...More

The Dublin Writer's Museum is a very interesting place to visit - telling the story of several Irish writers and including many facts we hadn't known before. It's not very large and wo't take all day to see but it's definitely worthwhile.

As a huge Wilde and Stoker fan, I was very pleased to have come here at last and a personal highlight were the busts of Wilde and Frank McCourt - the art gallery 3 doors down is also worth seeing

Take an audio tour and learn all about the writers from Ireland. See bits of the past. Original hand written notes and books. See how the writers and writing progressed through history. Beautiful stained glass window, grand staircase and beautiful reading area.

This is set in an old tired, rambling building but that adds if anything to its charm, not slick and a bit soulless as some newer attractions can be. There's a little shop and no cafe, but there's a very good cafe at the Dublin...More
