We visited Ireland now for the second time this year, and we were not disappointed at all by this great tour. Our tour guide, Pat, did a fantastic job explaining historic sites to us, and answering our questions we had at the end. His humorous way of speaking and funny jokes always managed to get smiles on our faces and all around in our group. Furthermore, Paul, our driver, drove fabulously around steep roads, and bumpy terrain.
We will absolutely be willing to share another day with the pair of them exploring Ireland.

We had an amazing tour of the Irish country side! Most tours just take you place to place but Pat (with the amazing driving of John) took us comfortably with so much background and history of each area we drove through! You get tons of free time and learn so much! It’s amazing

My friends and I went with Pat and Alec trough this tour; I highly recommend it.
With them you will learn about Irish history and myths on a funny way; they are amazing and very nice people.
Glad I choose this guide, thanks for showing us those beautiful places and for telling us those incredible stories.

Had an amazing day with Pat (tour guide) and Bryn (driver). Pat was such a lovely grandfatherly host with tons of information to share throughout the bus ride to our various stops. He made an effort to speak to everyone on the bus and treated us with such a lovely poem by the end of the day. Would definitely recommend.

We were guided by Pat. He told things in a very beautiful way. One of the most engaging experiences I’ve had in a bus. The views were beautiful and the driver (Bryn) drove perfectly. We definitely recommend going on the trip. Especially with Pat and Bryn!

P.S The bus does stop at the monastic site of Glendalough and of course in Kilkenny but does not stop in the other mention villages.

We only have 4 ours to travel outside Dublin , because our ship is sailing tomorrow at 5 pm do you suggest me something. We like nature and not city tours

Dear Isaac. We have a full day tour to the Wicklow mountains, Glendalough monastic settlement and Kilkenny medieval city. You should call to one of the many tourist offices in Dublin where you can find many options for a short trip out of the City. Enjoy!! Kind regards Collins Day Tours team.

Hello. I am considering this day trip from Dublin. Does Collins Day Tour allow enough time to do these 3 things at the 3 hour Kilkenny stop: eat lunch in a restaurant, take the complimentary walking tour and tour the Kilkenny Castle (I have heard the castle takes over an hour)? If not, are there quick, take-away, lunch options there?

Hello! Many thanks for your enquiry.There is time to visit the Brewery in Kilkenny. The total time in Kilkenny is nearly 3 hours. We suggest you get a light lunch in the area around the Brewery and then the Smithwicks Experience takes about 1 hour (enjoy a great pint there too!) Kind regards Collins Day Tours team.

I will be arriving on October 15, 2016. I am booked for a week in Knocktopher Abbey in Co. Kilkenny. I am traveling solo and I have made arrangements for a rental car. Would it be possible to book a day trip private tour from Kilkenny to Killarney, Ring of Kerry and Dingle? What would the cost be? I might be willing to stay overnight and extend the tour to include other West Coast sites.
Dear Tom. Thanks for yoru question! We just do the day tour from Dublin to Glendalough Wicklow Gap and Kilkenny. Many guests take the day tour to get to Kilkenny and then either stay there or continue towards Cork or Kerry. The reason it works out well is because you get to do a guided day tour on the way south and not waste a day simply getting from A to B on public transport. I know this tour stops at Glendalough and Kilkenny. I'm wondering if there is actually a stop in the Wicklow Mountains for a chance to take photographs. The itinerary on their website makes it sound as if they just drive through the area. I've e-mailed them and haven't gotten an answer. Thanks.

Yes, we stopped for a photo op overlooking beautiful scenery. We were quite high in the mountains, so it was cold. Given the cold temps, it was a brief stop.
