My best friend came to visit me here in Dublin and we decided to go on the Wicklow tour and enjoy some of Irelands countryside. To be honest we didnt really know what was important to be seen so we just decided to choose a...More

I went on the Wicklow tour and chose to do the 2 hour hike. I really liked it because it has a max capacity of 14 people. Not having to deal with 30+ people was so nice. If you are not a hiker you can...More

We went on the tour the 26th July and it was perfect. Also very special thanks to our guide Michael Byrne. It was a day we'll never forget. The Wicklow Mountains are beautiful.

Went on a tour to the Wicklow Mountains four days ago with my four month old son and wife ("youngest hiker I've had" - referring to my son). While I wouldn't recommend this for all families with infants, we had a blast. The day started...More

One of the highlights of my trip to Dublin - our tour was very personal with 7 participants plus guide Michael, who was tireless, funny, flexible, and engaging. After leaving Dublin, we did a quick drive through of Powerscourt, stopped for bathrooms in Enniskerry, and...More

We wanted a trek and tour in the smallest coach possible, to limit the amount of fellow travelors and the embarrassment large coaches bring. Our guide, Michael, was informative and even better - passionate about his county Wicklow and the surrounding veiws. The departure times,...More

I was at Lough Dan some years back, and one of the boats used for Vikings was at the edge of the lake. I'm not sure if it is still there or not. It is a pretty remote place, so you'd really need a car or a day's walk to get... More

We opted for the hike--good walking shoes were very useful Those who chose to go horseback riding didn't seem to have special boots though. I would ask the tour office though.
