Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We missed the bus due to many wrong directions, asked for a refund but was denied-even 1/2 would have been good. Should have booked with Paddywagon instead of Irish Day Tours

Trip was cancelled due to technical issues before we even left Canada-I guess they could t be fixed in the week 1/2 before we were supposed to go

Really a great visit. Very long trip on a bus though. Barry was very knowledgeable and kind. The lunch stop was quick, easy and tasty too.

The most beautiful bus ride you can imagine! Absolutely stunning. The cliffs were incredible. It’s a long day but every single part of it was worth it. I just wish instead of stopping in Gallway we had that time at the cliffs. Our guide/ driver was incredible. He was amazing about telling us the history and stories while driving along the Irish countryside. I cannot recommend this enough! Do it !!

The drive to the Cliffs of Moher took some time. It would've been great if the tour guide could've provided us with information of where we were going and what we were passing on the way. The stop at Gallway was a waste of time. We were dropped off on a road away from the shopping center of Gallway and told we had an hour to shop. Really by the time we walked there half our time was gone and then to find your way back was confusing. This stop could've been eliminated and the time added to the cliffs touring time. The pub we stopped at for lunch was great. Irish Stew was amazing!

Because of the ancient history of Ireland described in the tour information we were very excited to take this tour. Our tour guide was TERRIBLE. He wasn't very informed of what we were seeing. He lacked giving us the information. At Trim Castle he dropped us off and said he would return in 1 1/2 hour to pick us up. Then at lunch he just dropped us off at a restraurant and told us they were expecting us and he would return. The choice of food was poor. Then on to Loughcrew Passage Tomb where he parked and told us he would be waiting in the van and to follow the path. He failed to tell us that we would be climbing up the highest point in County Meath. What if we had a medical emergency???
I think with a more informative tour guide the tour would be what it is suppose to be.

Our driver, Bud, was the best! He was an excellent driver on the narrow roads, knew all of the history on our route and kept us laughing the entire trip. Cliffs of Moher were beautiful, but the coastal tour and small towns we went through were just as beautiful!

Long day but a great trip made extra enjoyable by our outstanding guide Jonathan. There are two similar trips, this one that includes a (fun!) sheepdog herding demonstration and a boat cruise (great - we had perfect weather) and another that does not feature those and stops in Galway. Very glad we did this one. On a 12-hour tour like this the driver/guide can make all the difference and we had a great one giving many interesting facts and lighthearted commentary with much local flavor. Recommended.

Our tour guide Connor was amazing. He is very knowledgeable about the sites, engaging and skilled guide. He created a wonderful day for us. We stopped at 5 or 6 sites with only short drives between, each were incredible in their own right. There were ample opportunities for bathroom, food and snacks.
