When in Dublin, take this tour.
We met Adrienne outside the old city gate and from there she took us on a wonderful walk back in time. The walk itself is not hard but she took the time to shownus nooks and spaces that just brought it alive. I HIGHLY recommend.

Amazing, authentic, glimpse into life in the Liberties

The CBS Class of '59, Kilkenny travelled to partake of the tour and were not disappointed. Our guide, Anthony was very knowledgeable, witty and entertaining. We would recommend the tour to anyone wanting to get a glimpse into the characters, buildings and history of the Liberties.

Brilliant walking tour

Great tour round the liberties, giving us a fantastic insight into the historic part of Dublin. Group of 5 friends visiting for a special birthday - great way to start.
Our guide Adrienne was fun, informative, welcoming and patient! Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience - corporate booking

We held a corporate private tour with 'In Our Shoes' for 20 members of our team. A must-do for anyone... whether you've lived in Dublin your whole life or are just visiting. Alison helped us book the tour and she was fantastic providing information leading up to the day. We had Anthony as a guide, he was absolutely amazing - with his local knowledge, passion for the area and authentic delivery. Everyone walked away from the tour learning something new & will be recommending it to others.

Enjoyable tour, delivered with Dublin wit

Our group thoroughly enjoyed the tour around the Liberties yesterday. Our guide, Anthony was very good, lots of information delivered with Dublin wit. Overall very enjoyable - the only suggestion would be to visit some of the magnificent churches along the route (which some of our group visited afterwards).

Not something I would normally do but our guide, Anthony, made this one of the most memorable things I have done in Dublin. His knowledge of and passion for the liberties is really inspiring. It would be worth our TD's time to take this tour and learn what this area needs and open their minds on what could really improve the area for the residents

Interesting yet less than expected
There was some interesting history shared about the neighborhood. The tour guide arrived late and was so soft spoken that he was hard to hear most of the time; most of his stories were coloured by anecdotes involving his grandmother.

You Not Regret Booking This!

We were so glad we chose this tour. Anthony took us to some of the parts of Dublin we would never have seen if we'd gone with a more tourist focused walking tour. He grew up in the area he showed us and knew everyone there and everything about it. Fantastic stories told with humour. Our group of five ladies loved it.

I would strongly recommend going with In Our Shoes and feeling great about your money going back to the Dublin communities who need support.

Fascinating tour off the beaten track

Myself and 4 friends enjoyed a brilliant walk with Anthony who is full of knowledge and wonderful stories of this fascinating area of Dublin where he grew up. It felt a real privilege to hear the history and see the streets away from the tourist beaten track. And the money goes back into the community. Highly recommended.
