Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The castle is located close to the village of Malahide, 15 km North from Dublin. It's too easy to reach Malahide by train. The castle is surrounded by a nice park with outdoor playground for kids, tourist shop, restaurant and coffee bar. Sorry to say that the price of castle's visit is too expensive: € 40❗The shop sells gift items, such as T-shirts, coffee mugs, keyrings, etc.
I also enjoyed the visit at the village, which is localed close to the sea. In the early afternoon we came back to Dublin.

Great trip by driver and guide. One issue coming back from Causeway to Dublin though. Had to endure 4 hour’s without a stop. Nearly pissed in my shoe. They blamed traffic in Belfast but that is not true. This preplanned route will always take at least 3.5 hours. No toilet on bus so plan ahead or check with Finn
McCool as some of their buses do have toilets.

Great day out for all the family. Packed a picnic and travelled down to Glendalough from Bray, 4 euros in was a very good price, we walked the green path from the monastic side car park up to the upper lough where the son took a paddle in the lough and we sat and took a rest, we then walked back via the boardwalk to have a picnic. Great outdoors fun and plenty of paths will be back to try other walks in the future.

My sister and I travelled to Dublin back in April 2019. Although I am writing this review almost 2 years later, it had an everlasting impression on our overall experience of Ireland. We truly had such a lovely time on this tour. The tour started early morning in the city centre area. Our tour guide/bus driver, Richard O'Brien was very entertaining and knowledgeable. We learned so much about Ireland's history that we previously never knew, which is very important to us. We made a few stops along the way to the Cliffs of Moher. We have a great memory at our lunch spot. When we arrived at the Cliffs of Moher, it was a very cold and windy day, just out of a Harry Potter movie. I would highly recommend this tour and particularly with our tour guide, Richard. It was a once in a lifetime experience and something we will never forget. Thank you!

I booked this tour online and went there on time, but the office was closed and I waited for 30 mins still no one showed up, tried to call both hot line but one is unavailable the other one is always busy. Got no cancel notification and no one replied my email as well. It’s not only wasting money but also my time, very disappointed! Please contact me for refund ASAP!!!

The trip itself was nice, also the duration was perfect, but the driver EOIN made it all amazing! His version of Dracula is UNBEATABLE!
Thanks Eoin for making us laugh and enjoy that much.

Richie was an awesome driver and narrator for this amazing day trip through the Wicklow Mountains and Glendalough. He had a great mix of humor, information, and silence when he know we were all exhausted on the way home. The trip included a charter bus from Dublin and returned to the same meeting point. We stopped for a great lunch in a tiny little, one street village, and I can't say enough about Richie and this tour. I would highly recommend it.

We took the gray line bus to Howth from Dublin and Eoin had me laughing so hard that my eyes were constantly in tears. He was great and I loved his insane, silly energy. And Howth and Malahide Castle itself was simply breathtaking and fascinating to visit! The tour was perfect for learning about the castle and then exploring/eating at Howth for a bit. Gorgeous views! If you get Eoin as your driver, you're in for a treat! He is hilarious!

Our trip to the Cliffs of Moher was a wonderful experience. Our bus driver/Tour guide was Prodrick O'connell. He was entertaining as well as informative. The three hour bus ride was well worth the result. The cliffs were breath taking. After leaving the cliffs, we had a lunch at a traditional Irish Pub with a nice cold Guinness or two. As Prodrick advised, there is only one way to drink a Guinness. "Three drinks, one, two, tree, anoder Guinness please."
This was one of the highlights of our vacation to Ireland and highly recommend this all day excursion as a must see.

We had booked a half day trip to Malahide Castle and Howth but sadly due to the Coronavirus this was cancelled. Luckily we were offered a transfer onto the full day Wicklow trip. This trip was such a great day, our driver/guide Eoin was THE BEST under such trying circumstances. He introduced all the passengers to each other before we set off, and explained our plans for the day. He has a natural gift for this job, his driving was without fault on these challenging roads along with his extensive history and local knowledge. At every stop he gave clear instructions of return times avoiding any delays or lost passengers. I have been on various coach tours throughout the world but this was definitely the best. I hope to return to Dublin and would definitely book any trip which Eoin was taking.

Is there a place on the bus for travelers to keep their luggage? We will be landing in Dublin the morning we are hoping to take this tour and will not be able to check into the place we are spending the night until after we arrive back from the tour.

From what I remember they have storage for suitcases under the coach and then you can keep your smaller bags with you in the coach, hope this helps.

I was on this tour but dont remember a waterfall. If its in Glendalough its possible it could be down by the loch but we didnt have time to walk there.

Hallo,
I made a reservation yesterday for a daytrip, but I haven't got mail yet. How long does it takes before you get a mail with the tickets?
Thanx

Hello Gray Line.
Can you please tell me if you run bus tours on New Year's Day? I was just thinking of going on the Wicklow Mountains tour. And if so,can you please tell me whereabouts in Dublin City would you normally pick people up?
Many thanks.

It is possible to book this trip for January 1 on the website, so I would assume that the trip will take place (even though it's on a public holiday), Whether the trip actually takes place will probably depend on how many people book on that day - as is the usual practice.
There were 2 pick-ups when I did this trip - by the Molly Malone statue on Suffolk Street, and at the sightseeing office on O'Connel Street (opposite the Post Office). You have a better choice of seat if you board by Molly Malone. You can choose the boarding location when you book

Hello Gray Line- My husband and I will be there early in March 2017. Do your buses pick guests up from the hote (Jury's in Parnell St) l or must they go to the office on O'Connell St?
Thanks,
Beth
Hi,
There are several places where they can pick you up, they will tell you which one's the most convenient for you when you book the tour. I was picked up not far from the Spire.
