It was so valuable to have someone knowledgeable of the area, with great recommendations, keeping us organized and simply just a fabulous person that we enjoyed his company. A trip we will never forget. Our driver/guide Tommy had so much knowledge we absorbed it all while taking in the scenery. He took us to spots only the locals would know and knew where all of the clean toilets and hidden treasures were located. We will absolutely recommend Lydon's of Galway.

We cannot say enough amazing things about our experience with Lydon's of Galway, and our driver Tommy. From first contact to our final drop off, we were treated like royalty. Tommy was such a lovely guide/driver. His knowledge of his Ireland is wonderful and his story telling was the best. From departure in Dublin, through the entire Wild Atlantic Way (or the WAWA, tge Wild Atlantic Way Adventure) we visited off-the-beaten path sites and saw things that we never would have experienced on our own, all thanks to Tommy's recommendations. Ireland is a beautiful country, steeped in history and Tommy made it all so much more special. We were immersed in the culture of Ireland, never felt rushed, and were able to tour at our own pace. I cannot recommend Donal more highly. He treated our family like his family. We had two 80-year-olds and a mix of other adults and kids in our party of 9. He took us up and down the West Coast from Galway in his beautiful 16 person luxury van. It was comfortable and classy. Donal's choices of where to take us were thoughtful. He was also an excellent guide, extremely knowledgeable about history and the natural features around us, having lived in the area his whole life. Donal was kind, funny and easy going. He was super flexible with our preferences. Please hire his company - you will not be disappointed.

On a previous trip to Ireland we rented a car and vowed not to do it again. Our day with Donal was perfect - he is so friendly and knowledgeable and we could enjoy the views of the beautiful Irish countryside without worrying about driving. Plenty of room for our family of seven - it was nice to have ample space to stretch out. Communication and payment were easily done over email, and he picked us up at our hotel. We would highly recommend Donal and his company!
