Hell Fire Club tour was exceptional!

I attended the Hell Fire Club tour on December 30, led by Mark. After a great meal at the haunted and ancient Brazen Head Pub, we met the guide outside and were led to a mini bus... read more

I wrote a long review on this before and got a message saying it had been delighted. Very dodgy that a company is getting it's bad reviews removed from Trip Advisor. Incompetent staff. The tour didn't show up to collect us, had to ask to speak to several different people before I got anyone on the phone who could explain... More

I attended the Hell Fire Club tour on December 30, led by Mark. After a great meal at the haunted and ancient Brazen Head Pub, we met the guide outside and were led to a mini bus. Once everyone was on board, we were off to the Wicklow Hills with some great storytelling as we drove through Dublin. The stories... More

Our tour guide was the walking cliché of an Irishmen - he was a fabulous storyteller, an impressive singer, and his sense of humour was marvellous. The bus took us from stop to stop, and we got stories both on the road and at the locations. It wont hurt to bring a torch for the off-bus walks. And for those... More

Really enjoyed this tour, where the tour guides (Two young Actors) were dressed in 1916 Volunteer uniforms and acted out the week of the 1916 Rising in the first person, from their perspective. Very informative with the odd Dublin wit thrown in, sites visited included Dublin Castle, GPO with a short walk to show the escape route from the GPO... More

I took this tour because I wanted some good ghost stories and to see the view of Dublin from the mountains. The tour was good but I wouldn't consider it scary. Also, the hike up to the Hellfire Club is somewhat strenuous (mostly because you're trying to keep up with the tour guide and not slip) but once you get... More

We booked the Hellfire Club tour on our recent December holiday. We knew a little about the club and the eerie stories about it, what we didn't pick up was the location. Having joined the bus our guide started explaining that we would drive up to the Dublin mountains where we would disembark and climb the mountain to the Hellfire... More

I went on the northside ghost walk tour in Dublin last week on halloween, there was only 6 of us there which made it a bit more personal. The tour guide was lovely and very hepful & made everyone feel welcome! It was more a history tour than a ghost walk tho she took us to quite a few different... More

While the tour content was excellent, we, and others in the group, were shocked to see dozens of needles/syringes and other drug paraphernalia in St. Audoen’s church grounds - the main location of the tour. We were walking right by this stuff and it was on the small wall where we stopped and people sat. There were dozens of needles,... More

This tour was excellent - really made GCSE History come alive! Amy and Matt were very enthusiastic actors and I greatly enjoyed the combination of acting, information giving, sight showing and reading out of real testimonies. Highly recommended!
