    Much improved….
I had previously given this lounge a poor review a year ago and as such was not expecting much when I again recently visited. It was therefore a welcome surprise to find that much had changed in that period. We were pleasantly welcomed and it was great to see clean tables with no leftover glasses/plates. Food selection had improved significantly albeit we were flying in the afternoon as distinct from morning previously. Two very nice warm dishes were available, chicken curry and Mediterranean stew together with a good selection of sandwiches, cookies and muffins. Good drinks selection available. Credit where credit is due…..

    Not Up to Par
Disappointing. The Lounge is airy and reasonably spacious, but the food the day I was there was average bordering on mediocre - and the buffet restocked by hand by staff not wearing gloves. Inexcuseable. Plus no draught Guinness - unbelievable! The T2 East Lounge, for EK and a few other airlines, is smaller, quieter and far better. And yes, you can get that parting 'pint of plain' there.

    Average at best
Large spacious open concept lounge. Nice panoramic view. Breakfast option was at best average or food court quality. Wasn’t too busy or crowded when I was first walked in around 8:30 am, got a bit busier and crowded closer to 10 am.

    Very disappointing
We used this lounge as business class travellers to the USA and were very disappointed. We arrived at 11 am and breakfast had finished. We then decided to have a light lunch but in all honesty nothing on show was appealing. The sandwiches were dry and tasteless and the cooked options hadn’t made their way to the counter. When we sat down (at a dirty table) the people around us ( mostly Americans ) were complaining about the standard of the food and the surroundings. Tables hadn’t been cleared and the floor was a mess. We were embarrassed. On our journey home we used the Aer Lingus lounge at JFK and it was faultless. The lounge was spotless, seats were spacious and comfortable, food was excellent and tables were cleared promptly. Staff were very friendly and helpful. An abundance of snacks were available and the whole experience was a pleasure. Perhaps someone from Aer Lingus should visit the Dublin lounge and advise on vast improvements that need made.

Best way to start your American trip
Love this lounge. Great way to relax before your long flight. Plenty of choice of food and drink. If your a plane spotter you must visit this lounge as you get great views of the runway. The lounge is fairly big and good value for what you get. Well worth it

Flying Aer Lingus from LHR to EWR with stopover in Dublin. I went to the Aer Lingus lounge I’m familiar with, and they suggested I use the 51st & Green lounge which is after US pre clearance. Sounded like a good idea, so I did.
Mistake!! Really just some seats and tables in a big room at the end of the area. Free food and coffee but I arrived at 11.25 and the food area was closed for changeover from breakfast to lunch. 30 minutes later, still closed. Toilets were dirty, staff unhelpful, whole area very noisy.
Whilst I know it’s a privilege to have a lounge to use, don’t use this one if you have a choice!

This is my second time using the Lounge and sorry to say I won’t be using it again, I had a better experience in April 2022 when I visited. This time was a major let down…. Breakfast had poor choices, some watery scrambled eggs, slices of turkey and wheaten bread and butter not what I would call breakfast….. options were poor there was a lot more on offer the last time….. there was no packets of crisps/chips they had an open bowl of crisps which you could lift from…. Not ideal lifting crisps that every other person has had their hands on! I took my 2 alcoholic glasses both were half filled. I would make better use of my 41 euro out in the main airport which I will be doing next time. Would not recommend

Had use of this lounge as a business class passenger to USA. Never used lounge previously. There was a queue going in to it. Found it very disappointing. Poor selection of food and didn’t find the lounge relaxing at all.

The 51st & Green lounge website directs passengers to their partner airline for details of their entitlement privileges. But, the United Club Lounge site directs members to the lounge’s website. Ridiculous. Worse yet passengers need to register online at least a day in advance. Who does that? Nobody.
