Frank made our trip to Ireland! We took the entire family around the country to see the sites but also research our family heritage. Frank make it special. His passion and knowledge for Ireland is amazing. He took us to places we would have never seen on our own. We will use Frank again when we go back for our guys golf trip.
He is now an official member of the Sweeney family.

My 74 year old mother, my sister and I were headed to Ireland in April 2020. Well… you know how that turned out. When we re-booked we decided to hire a driver through Love Irish Tour Company. They graciously gave us an angel from heaven- Frank! We spent 9 days together touring the southern to middle half of the country. Frank was incredible! He was driver, tour guide, protector, and story teller. His love for Ireland made our entire trip so much better! The stories he told were funny, entertaining and memorable. His driving skills were superb! His knowledge of the main and back roads were impeccable. His patience for getting you to exactly where you want to go and seeing what you want to see were far beyond the call of duty. If you are planning to come to Ireland and wanting to drive, DON’T DO IT! Hire Frank. So worth the extra money. Don’t second guess it. Just hire Frank!

My cousin and I recently visited Ireland and luckily received Frank Hughes, owner of Frankie”s Chauffeur Service, as our driver. He met us at the airport and the adventure began. Frank ensured we saw everything we had on our list and so much more. He made a point of getting to know us so he could anticipate where we would want to eat and took us to great places we had no idea existed. His suggestions were always excellent. He was very knowledgeable, sharing history and local information, as well as always courteous and helpful. He learned quickly I loved to take photos of everything so he would tell me to get my camera ready and an outstanding view would suddenly appear. We recommend Frankie”s Chauffeur Service to anyone and are already planning our next visit.

My husband, our friend Karen and I made our first visit to Ireland this July. We used Go Irish Tours to help us put together the 7 day tour of Southern Ireland. We told them the places and sites we wanted to visit and the types of accommodations where we wanted to stay.
Since none of us wanted to drive, Go Irish provided a driver, Frank Hughes, owner of Frankie's Chauffeur Service.. He was spectacular. His Mercedes van was extremely comfortable with plenty of leg room. Frank was very knowledgeable about the history, geology and culture of Ireland and lots of fun to travel with. He made a point of getting to know each of us and our individual interests. Frank worked with our initial itinerary and improved upon it. Frank made sure we got to see and do the things that were important to us – whether it was close interactions with animals, fascinating rock formations, or fun historical settings or bars. Each complete with information about the sheep/cow breeds, the history or and explanation of how the terrain was formed. Frank made sure that each of us had a memorable travel experience. When we realized that all four of us loved to cook, he took us for a tour of a supermarket so we could compare the different types of food offerings. (Who knew that Uncle Ben of US rice fame made a large selection of sauces which are not on the shelves at home?) Great fun.
While we went with a tour company for this trip, we would use Frankie's Chauffeur Service directly for future trips. His company has the expertise to arrange for all accommodations and entry vouchers when needed. Plus, because he is actually on the road he has the knowledge and ability to maximize the itinerary to assure that you get to see everything you want (and more) without feeling rushed. Extremely comfortable transportation and very knowledgeable,entertaining guide.

Frank made our trip to Ireland one we will never forget! He is a true professional, but most importantly a genuinely good person. Frank is extremely knowledgeable, which he is happy to share and has a great sense of humor. He took the time to get to know us and suggested activities based on our interests that we would never have known to do. While the island was beautiful, Frank made a vacation of a lifetime! I would highly recommend Frank’s services to anyone interested in touring Ireland.

Excellent service. Driver was a gent. Extremely knowledgeable of the areas covered on the tour of Ireland. Can't recommend Frankie's Chauffeur Service enough.
