We came over for a weekend from Newcastle. I sat at bar originally and realised I wasn't getting served. It was odd. Eventually I got served, the barman looked at other barman, (elder guy. Manager?) almost as if for approval, and he nodded. We walked around other side of bar and was stared at by staff, plus locals (was not welcoming) left after this. Was a bizarre experience. We came here for lunch on a Sunday. Staff were really lovely and welcoming. Food was average, tasted fine, nothing spectacular. The reason for not giving a full rating was the toilets. Being one of the first people there after opening you could see the toilets had not been cleaned properly. The sides and dado rails have a thick layer of dust and the toilets had splashes of faeces.…

Myself and two colleagues where in Dublin City centre on a location hunt for a huge British & Irish TV show being filmed later this year. We’d been advised to check out Bar Runi due to its size and apparently good lunch offer. We arrived at 11.50 am and headed in as all the doors where fully open and the female member of staff was putting all the signs out. She shouted at us to get out, I asked if she was ok and again she shouted at us to leave and they weren’t open until 12. It was then 11.57am. I asked if we should leave and she turned her back to us, laughed and headed back to the bar. I approached the bar and both bar staff were laughing loudly and mocking my accent. So, nice hey?!? I’d never go in there ever again!…

Just wanted to leave a review to say how thankful I am to have chosen the Ruin Bar @Tara Street as the venue for my 30th Birthday. I had guests of all different age groups,from my parents, friends and family everyone really enjoyed the atmosphere and vibes of the venue. The bar staff where extremely accomadating to all of our needs, we ordered 2 platters, however, on the night needed to request more and the team member "Indra" went above and beyond to facilitate this request. Everything went smoothly, cake and balloons where allowed at the venue which gave it more of a party vibe. The food WAS AMAZING,we will eat there again for definite. Close to dart Station and nightlinks really is a fantastic area if hosting a party or event, couldn't fault a thing.... Thank you to All.🙌🏻…
